Makeup by Talin

Honestly, it was too Cakey, and the eye make up started to crease. I’m pretty let down. I don’t have bad skin, so to have such a cake face on was unnecessary. I wasn’t as pleased as I thought with my final outcome.

I love Talin and her work! She always is professional, fun, and makes me look and feel beautiful! She has done my makeup for a couple of occasions (homecoming and Halloween). She listens to what you would like and works with you to get that perfect look! For Halloween I stopped by to get fake lashes applied for the night and a black lip. Really made my costume and stayed all night! Her studio is super cute and clean. Another plus is that she is very reasonably priced and well worth it too!
Seriously best makeup artist I’ve been too!

I follow #MakeupByTalin on instagram and I always said if I ever need to get my makeup done for a special occasion in LA I’m definitely going to go to Talin. Well… It was my friends wedding about a week ago and my best friend and I decided to go together to Talin. I scheduled an appointment online (which was so easy). Let me put it to you this way my friends. She did not disappoint! I just told her once what i wanted and she let her hands do the magic! She is so talented the way she blends her shades. I kept getting compliments all night and her makeup lasted ALL NIGHT! She has officially become my favorite MUA! Did i forget to mention how sweet and funny she is? Let me begin by saying I am a picky client. I have tried multiple makeup artists and I have never been fully satisfied. When I went to Talin, for the FIRST time ever I was IN LOVEEEEEE with my makeup. It was done impeccably! I looked natural but not plain! Not to mention my makeup lasted ALL NIGHT. I am simply in love with her work. Like I told Talin, she is officially my makeup artist forever. I can’t wait to go try different looks with her. I barely ever give reviews but I had to share this one. I 100% recommend her. Love love love!!!

Back in May, I needed my makeup done for my cousin’s wedding. I began looking for a skilled, yet affordable MUA in the San Fernando valley area, and I definitely wasn’t going to the MAC counter again. Enter Talin.
I found her on Unilocal and the photos and prices were enough for me to book my appointment. I wasn’t so happy with my hair which I got done at DryBar that day but Talin’s makeup MAGIC was enough to make up for it!
Talin asked me about my makeup preferences during the session and made sure everything was done to my liking which I really appreciated. There are certain types of makeup looks I know don’t go well on my face and I’m so glad she had the courtesy to ask!
I’m pretty familiar with top makeup brands and she uses some of the BEST stuff. She’s a pro at contouring and does a perfect smokey eyes. She also provides lashes which I was nervous about since I never use them but they were great and felt so light that I forget they were there.
Most importantly, I attended an Egyptian wedding where there was lots of dancing and SWEATING and my makeup lasted all day and night long, which was 12+ hours!

I finally found an awesome make up artist in the valley! She was perfect, from the moment I got there she made me feel very comfortable and asked me exactly how I wanted my make up done. She has an adorable studio set up with amazing lighting. She took her time and asked me step by step if I was okay with whatever product she was using. I needed my make up done for a wedding and it lasted all night, plus it looked amazing in pictures. Thank you so much! I will definitely be going back to her for other events and I highly recommend her. It’s super easy to book an appointment through her website.

I had my make-​up done by Talin for my engagement photos and my make-​up looked amazing! I think I was in a bit of shock just because I don’t ever do my makeup but this was the right occasion to do so.
Talin was very sweet and professional. She asked what I wanted. I told her my main concern was that my face matched my tanned arms and neck and she nailed it. I was so happy! Her pricing is great too, especially because you get lashes, YES lashes. I wish I could wear them everyday. Talin is sweet and personable. If you are lucky you might just meet her lovely assistant too ;) I’m definitely going back to her for other events!

This is my second make up session with Talin. My first one was at my birthday celebration she made me feel very special and the 2^nd session was for my daughter’s event to promote her fashion legacy 8 at Mercedes Benz of calabasas on July 11. She did an awesome work. Love her.

Talin is seriously a makeup genie! Her work is flawless and very professional. I felt like a real woman wearing the makeup she did for me, and had compliments left and right. Will definitely coming back for next time and the time after.

I went today and I asked for dramatic and that is exactly what I got. She has great talent and I went home extremely happy. Her highlighting is amazing and everyone has been saying my makeup looks amazing.

I want Talin to do my makeup everyday! She listened to everything I asked her and made me feel so beautiful! She’s so fun to talk to and really knows what she’s doing. She also takes into consideration your skin type and applies the makeup accordingly. She also gave me a little container with the lipstick she uses so I can reapply! Can’t wait to see her again!

Remarkable talent! I’ve had my makeup done by Talin for various occasions now and I’ve left happy EVERY single time. She is attentive to detail, takes into account each and every (and occasionally ridiculous) request I’ve asked of her, and is well equipped with the latest in makeup goodies and tools. Pricing is very reasonable. HIGHLY recommended.

Went to Talin to go get my prom makeup done and I absolutely loved it! Her studio is cute and she makes you feel comfortable. My makeup lasted the whole night and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Definitely going back to her and recommending to my family & friends.

I normally don’t like getting my make up done because I’ve always had a bad experience. (I’m very picky) HOWEVER! My friend recommended Talin and i must say I’ve never been more satisfied with my makeup. Next week will be the third time I get my makeup done by her and I can’t wait!!! :)

By far the best make up I’ve ever gotten done was by Talin! Not only is she good at what she does, she’s also so sweet and makes sure you feel comfortable and beautiful. I thought for sure my make up was going to come off in a few hours at my engagement party but boy was I wrong! It lasted through crazy heat, lots of kisses, and all the dancing and sweating! I went home at 3am still looking fabulous!!! Lol. I highly recommend hiring Makeup by Talin for all occasions!

She’s an amazing make up artist and super personable. I got so many compliments on my make up on New Year’s Eve. Being African American sometimes it’s hard for the artist to match you with the right foundation and know what colors look good with your skin tone. I gave her an idea of what I wanted but let her do her thing and left extremely happy. I will def be going back!

She is just amazing!!! You must check her out, she does an amazing job for every occasion.

If you want to look good all day and all night Talin’s your girl! Her makeup stays on thru the heat and sweat. She’s done my makeup a few times and she takes her time and wants you to look beautiful. I always gets compliments about her work. She’s clean and listens to what style you are looking for. Normally I don’t go back to the same person but her talent and
attitude towards her work keeps bringing me back to her. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs makeup done!

Talin is amazing! I’ve never been disappointed, my makeup always lasts throughout the night and I get so many compliments! She always exceeds my expectations and takes her time to make sure you leave happy! You’re face won’t feel cakey and she makes sure it blends right in with your skin tone, basically leaving your skin looking flawless! She applies lashes on so perfectly your eyes won’t feel heavy.
