A Family business, Erica, with great attitude, experienced and knowledgeable manager/​owner, her father started working in this business when he was 13 years old, in Mexico. Very sharp crew, they know their work, and Erica’s beautiful cat always sleeping on the counter, I decided to take my both cars to them.

I found this place through a discount deal and now use them exclusively. Honest, good prices, great customer service. It’s a small, family-​owned business. Erika at the counter is awesome and took great care of me. She is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. She was willing to work with me on payments and made sure I had a ride to and from work. They stand behind and guarantee their work. I trust them and recommend them highly.

Came across this place through and Amazon local «deal», paid a one time fee for so many oil changes, tire rotations and other basic checks/​services. Been here twice, was talked into paying (extra– more than the «deal» itself) for the synthetic oil change the first time by the clerk and not until I was home reviewing the receipt a week later did I notice the wrong oil type had been used. Not a huge deal, but not sure how it was overlooked considering the oil type is clearly printed on the cap. Second visit, I told them I would just do the regular oil change included on the «deal» and mentioned the oil type so that the correct one could be used this time around. The clerk proceeded to tell me my particular oil type was Only carried in Synthetic. I asked her how come it hadn’t been used the time prior being that I had to pay extra for synthetic and all she could say was whoops, her mistake. I was very irritated by the whole thing and the fact that they wouldn’t make up for their error. What if I had noticed this right away, would I have been charged in order for them to re drain my car and fill it with the Appropriate oil type? Very frustrating.
Needless to say, I’ve donated my «deal» since there was a couple of oil changes and other services left (and I won’t be returning), but not without a prior warning.

My second review, I so trust this place they have awesome prices for the maintenance of my vehicle. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m totally recommending them to my friends and family

My van threw a timing belt and has an interference engine. After discovering that the motor was pretty damaged in a few different spots due to the timing belt mishap they gave me a great price and even worked with me and took some of the labor cost off from what would have otherwise been just a timing belt and water pump replacement. The front desk is operated by Erika, who is totally nice and kept in touch with me every step of the way! Highly recommend this place!

I had a check engine light go on and my engine was periodically bogging down. Most shops have you drop the car off and charge a minimum $ 85– $ 125 for a diagnostic check which can take all of two minutes. I pulled in and the mechanic checked out my Nissan on the spot and as it turned out, there was a bad connection in one of my connectors which he remedied on the spot. I thanked him and asked how much? He said don’t worry about it. So, as far as I have experienced, this isn’t a money gouging operation. I understand that they do normally charge $ 45 for the check and that’s reasonable. I’ll bring my truck here from now on.

I agree with all the wonderful reviews here. I’ve been going to this place over a year now after finding it because a door-​to-​door marketer sold me a discount card. This is an outstanding auto repair shop. The prices are great, yes, but the customer service is how it used to be. I trust that they aren’t taking advantage of my ignorance about a car’s workings. Erica is charming, knowledgeable, and how great is it that a woman is the running the joint. I’m roaring. The mechanics are fast and will show you what’s wrong… not that I always understand what they’re pointing out to me. They will go all out for a loyal customer. Seriously. I’m never moving from the Valley, and OR General is one of the reasons.

A Great auto repair Find in the Valley! After my favorite local, honest and fair auto mechanic retired in the Valley, I didn’t know where to go or who to trust. So I thought I’d try O.R. General Auto Repair on a friend’s recommendation. Man, I’m so glad I did! Erica at the counter is so sweet and pleasant to deal with and she makes sure that your needs are looked into right away! No waiting around waiting for service! The mechanics are 1^st rate and super fast and super reasonable! You won’t believe it! I I went to Sears Auto Repair originally to look at my car which was making a weird knocking sound. The mechanic as Sears said he wouldn’t touch it saying I had a possible major motor problems!?? O.R. General Auto Repair looked at it and found that it was just low on oil and needed changing… just a simple fix! A year later I am still driving my car and with the oil changes and minor repairs O.R. has done my car has never driven better! Thanks guys!

This is the only shop I trust with my cars. I been coming here for the past 13yrs. They took care of my very first car Toyota supra to my Lexus RX300 now. There facility has everything you need to keep your car well maintained. Erika is the person I call there and she has great service. I recommend my fellow Unilocalers to come visit them.

I first learned of OR Auto Repair when they came to the house offering a laminated sheet worth $ 200 of typical auto repairs for a mere $ 20. Obviously I was intrigued so I bought one and used all the services. During those services they treated me, my wife and our vehicles do well that we naturally adopted them as our neighborhood mechanic. It has been so convenient to have these experts within walking distance so I can just drop off and stroll home. They have always finished on the same day regardless of the repair, they let me just walk in and drop off for whatever I need from be it new brakes, a tube up or a $ 20 oil change. They have always gone the extra mile with my cars by checking everything, even what I haven’t asked for, thoroughly and making gentle recommendations for my car’s needs without any pressure. I’ve been bringing my cars here for 5 years now and Erica and co. Basically treat me like family, extending me every courtesy with competence and professionalism. They’ve even joyfully watched my son grow up. There are very businesses that I frequent that have my utmost confidence and OR General Auto Repair is one of them. They’ll be my spot until I move or die, whichever comes first.

Very happy with Erica at the front desk. When I called and asked for a price on my brakes she was very straight forward and was honest. The mechanic even explained to me why my brakes were making the sounds they were and showed me the disk and how they were worn thin. They got the job done in the amount of time they said it would take and the result is no more squeaky brakes. Thanks much.

My first time here for an oil change. The staff is very friendly and offers very fair prices as I have done work on my own car before, but recently not having the time to do it. The lack of reviews may be due to the fact that most of their clientele dont have Unilocal accounts, or just dont Unilocal often like myself. Its hard to find an honest auto repair shop like theirs, and years of being in business proves so.
