Pitt’s Performance

FYI to all– Pitts has apparently closed down. The shop owners have been MIA since Thanksgiving, and there is a notice of abandonment on the door from the landlord. I think they just up and left.

these guys wont help you. tried calling a few times during their business hours and they dont even pick up. walked in the showroom and waited at the counter. no one came over.

You would think during a recession a place that sells go karts would be a little more appreciative of new customers. I had just purchased a mini bike through a private seller and dont know much about it so I do some research and this place looks like the cats pajamas I give em a ring and speak to this older gentleman on the other end. Im going on about how i would like to have them take a look at my bike maybe tell me a little about it, make sure its road worthy, form a good customer relationship as I like to do with all new hobbies, no big deal. The gentleman tells me no problem we can do it I say great ill head down. I drive down from Hollywood, get to the place and there are maybe three customers in the store I approach the younger man at the front desk and explain to him what the lo down is on my bike he just brushes me off and tells me they dont have time for it and i could drop it off, Really? I only want a few min just make sure all the bolts are tight and chain on properly and such thats all, no big deal. Then he asked me what i needed to buy I said i dont know I think the bike needs a new throttle cable kit the one i have is loose, again i dont know much about Mini bikes. Bam! here you go and rushes me out the door. I later realized i didn’t need a new throttle and ended up fixing it my self, only took me a few minutes. As im in the shop another customer came in who i assume was a regular customer and they start yukin up about go-​karts and such like old college buddies while I stand there with a throttle cable, my mini bike in tow and a confused look on my face.
Breakdown
* called ahead to ask if they can take a quick look at the bike gentleman said sure we can do that, drive all the way there, younger dude at the desk siad i would have to leave it. with them.
*was sold un necessary part and rushed out the door.
*Seem to only give existing customers the time of day.
*Will not return here, ill take my chances at a lawnmower shop in inglewood.
