This is the worst ralphs I ever been its dirty there security guard does nothing to get rid of the homeless people in the parking lot feels very unsafe

Place is always clean, good customer service but there were no shopping carts for me not good I had to go hunt one down

I went back this morning and found another bike that had been stripped while being locked outside this store. Both wheels and the seat stripped off this poor girl’s bike.

We have been standing at the deli counter for a full ten minutes while there are 3 people behind the counter and only one of those people is actually helping customers.
The price for the old, tiny pieces of fried chicken is absurd. This place is ridiculous.
One star for the one, small dark haired lady who was running around doing everything and actually helped us.

I just want to make sure Ralphs gets a high five kudos to Sandra in the deli section. This woman is so awesome. She is kind and helpful and really shows her love for her job. I will only shop at this Ralphs from now on. Kudos to Sandra for reeling in a customer!!!

This Ralph’s doesnt have as much stuff as the one nearby on BurbankAve but what it DOES have is awesome staff. I live close and I go almost every other day for one thing or another and I really like the people that work here. They are all really personable and professional and the managers are all really nice.

This Ralphs has a wonderful fresh selection of produce, vegetables, fresh fruits. I can’t say enough about their deli section either! Also it must be said and known… the best fried chicken anywhere in L.A. County is Ralphs fried chicken. It is juicy and tender crispy and
satisying and healthy too! I love the warm staff and they really do their very best to make customers happy and feel like they are at home. Mike, the general manager of the store sure is a swell guy and has done some wonderful things with the store. Marianne is one fine lady as well always on top of things at the front of the store. The deli always has such a fine variety of deli cuts, cheeses and salads. Also, the wine selection is not to be overlooked. Every wine known to man is at this Ralphs with such a wide variety. And before I forget, this particular Ralphs has markdowns every day on perfectly delicious items I truly can’t say enough about this market and the folks who work there. We will continue to be dedicated to shopping at this Ralphs!

The best thing about this Ralph’s is the manager. But while she was on break, I watched some cholo walk out with a bunch of stuff. Told the employees, and all they said was «really?». Literally, their only words, within 5 seconds of him walking out. So, if you want to go grocery shopping and walk out with a bunch of stuff without getting in trouble, this is the place!
I just saved a whole lot of money by going to Ralph’s and not paying for a thing because they do not care!
Chances are the employees I I formed about the theft were probably friends with the shoplifter anyway. Pathetic excuse for human beings

I’ve been in many Ralphs stores, but I’ll never be in this one again. I only went in there following some business in the Van Nuys area, so it’s unlikely they would see me again anyway. Going to the deli section to «grab a fast lunch» was actually at a snail’s pace. AND THEN, when I got some with my lunch and what I thought was today’s weekend LA Times edition, I saw that I had been sold one from ONE WEEK AGO. Of course, I’m not going to spend more than $ 3 in gas to return to this store to get my $ 2 refunded for the paper, but I thought I would call and alert the manager, so other poor customers wouldn’t experience the same.
The phone rang unanswered for several minutes, so I hung up and redialed. This time a young guy answered, and seemed bored as heck with his employment. I asked to speak to the manager, and he said, «Okay, but it’ll be awhile,» so I told him about the outdated newspapers. He seemed totally disinterested, but said he’d relay the message; sorry, but I didn’t believe him.
Sometimes, when I «yelp» about a store, my concern is heard. I hope so. In the meantime, I’ll just wait till I go out tomorrow morning and get the paper. This time, I’ll be sure to check the date.

I don’t usually shop at this Ralph’s but was in the area to visit friends. My Amex card was declined due to possible credit card fraud. I called AMEX and they said that because of the area and the fact that I had never shopped here their system rejected the charge.
I guess AMEX thinks VAN NUYS is in a bad area compared to the lovely Hollywood Store that I usually shop at.

This place needs to be cleaned up. Although it is in Van Nuys, that doesn’t mean it needs to have dim lighting throughout the store. However besides that, I love Ralph’s! I can usually find what I need here.
