The location is convenient. The self-serve feeder machines are pretty reliable. I’ll say one thing: the employee here works HARD! The clientele is very disparate. You might find the Beverly Hills person who has posted on here who just had a party, or upstanding homeowners. More likely, you’ll find people with a few bags of bottles & cans who have saved or collected them, and $ 5 is a lot of money. The employee is often overrun with people, and everyone wants special attention. He works hard, directs people to the line, and if you’re doing something wrong(no shopping carts!), he’ll just point to the sign and keep you in line. This is a tough job, and I’ve never seen him slow down. I’m a safety nut — every time I’ve been there, he has had his ear protection in. I’m also a clean freak about public places. If you miss closing time by 5 minutes — tough luck. He is scrubbing the place down and getting ready to leave. It’s one thing to see this kind of commitment and energy at a Mercedes or BMW showroom floor. It’s quite another to see it at this kind of job.

They were very rude to me. They acted like I was going to steal their filthy trash can by bringing it to my car. There was already a lady that they knew by name with a trash can at their car. The guy screamed at me, «You don’t listen.» and then he took the trash can out of my hands. Every recycle place I go to lets you bring the trash can to your car. They could have nicely said that they don’t want people to actually use the cans unless they know them, that would have been an acceptable answer. I work in customer service and I think if I am not rude to you than you shouldn’t be rude to me. I try my best to be nice to all workers/people/etc everywhere.

What is there to say? You bring them your bottles/cans/other recyclables, and they give you a receipt that you cash in Ralphs. As easy as recycling gets.

I had a party and had a million and one glass bottles to recycle. I was trying to be better to Mother Nature :) Location is convenient with plenty of parking. Right around so you don’t have to drag your bottles around located in the middle of the south west part of Ralph’s parking lot. There is a machine you can use to deposit the bottles which is nice. I didn’t really use it though. I donated my bottles to a young family to maybe try to help them out.

Located to the left of Ralph’s within their parking lot.(GPS will drive you right past Ralph’s.) One of the more efficient RePlanets I’ve ever visited. The guy who runs it is a great multi-tasker who isn’t bothered by helping 3 people at once.

Well the one thing I love about this place is that u can deposit thru a machine all the bottles urself and u get paid top money for it. Or u can give it to the employes there for a smaller cash back. But to me the time I save is worth it. The only other thing I don’t like is that I have to go stand at Ralph’s to cash my money and that’s time consuming for me.: another line and another location. And u can only cash it at that specific Ralph on magnolia and van Nuys.
