Sizzler

This is a very nice Sizzler food is very fresh and service was excellent I will be back. Thank you to my server who was so sweet.

Horrible Food and service
My son threw up as soon as he had finished his plate I’ll be staying away for EVER!!!

I have lunch there once a week when I can. The salad buffet is great and the main dishes are good. I have not had a plate do not like. Customer service is great and the dinner rolls are fabulous.

I came in here late to eat with my hubby. We order a big meal. I ordered the steak, Malibu chicken and potato with mushrooms. When I always order the mushrooms they put it on the to of my steak grilled. This time they gave me a whole mushrooms and sliced on top of the steak. There steak sauce taste really nasty. The restroom is dirty. When I was driving back home my tummy was hurting. That night I got food poison. I won’t be coming back to this location.

Sizzler is located in the heart of the san fernando valley. There is a huge parking lot outside the place considering the restaurant is pretty big. You would most likely never ran out of space regardless of the time you come here.
They offer plenty of choices on their menu with most of it offering unlimited foods like salad and shrimp. I had the chance to try their steak and unlimited crispy shrimp offer (17 $). Also got a taste at their salad bar offering soups, cheese covered toast and salads.
Their cheese covered toast was absolutely heaven, its very crisp and you could really taste the flavor in it.
Their soups was okay as well, not too bad.
The main dish i ordered, the steak and unlimited shrimp was only average. The steak was pretty thick and good, the shrimp however was little bit too covered in crumbs. The actual shrimp was small and i felt the food is just making you bloater but not satisfied.
All in all, i can say that they offer quite some considerable amount of food in their menu and I would definitely come back to try the rest.

Over priced. The steak was tough, the bread blah, the soup,. more like water. The salad was good though. I would recommend picking another place if you want anything other than salad-​Although the salad bar by itself is $ 11.99…

They have really good deals for cheap here. I like their riblets and salad bar, best deal for your buck! Amazingly their clam chowder is really good. Our server Joe is very nice, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our visit here. The steaks are just ok. Join their birthday club, they give you coupons and free dessert. However, they need to do some extra sweeping here as I found some trash under the tables and the place needs to be renovated and look more alive, its kinda dreary

My girlfriend and I just wanted something nice and warm for lunch on this cold & rainy day. So, we chose to dine out at the Sizzler for the endless salad bar & shrimp.
Being vegetarians, we asked the manager Kirk to remove the steaks from our bills and cheap skate discounted our $ 54.00 meal 15% (before taxes).
In addition to being cheap, his bias of interracial couples was evident. While we were ordering 2 entrees & 2 endless salads, he blurted out that it was against policy to share endless salads. We, including the hostess were like CLEARLY we’re ordering 2! Test Tube Baby! Lol

Food was bland and the waitress was never around. Definitely won’t be returning to this spot. We got the steak shrimp dish and the salad bar.

All you can eat salad bar for $ 10.00 can’t go wrong. From salads, chicken wing to tacos, and fruits, Ice cream. haven’t been here in years, sure glad I did.

It’s been years since I have been to a sizzler so we decided to come here. I ordered lobster and the steak and it wasn’t that great, meat is very chewy and lobster is small. I do really like the salad bar, sides, and soup so I recommend just getting that and or something cheap on the menu with the salad bar addition. I love their cheese bread the best! ;)

Went on mothers day. Understandable it was going to be packed. 40 minute wait… food wasn’t good. I asked for steak well done, it was super dry not taste. Ordered a coke, got a Dr pepper. Super cold in there a lot of people were complaining about it. My son ordered a burger he didnt like it. Waiter was friendly and cashier too. Not worth the wait or money.

So I came to this Sizzler last night because I usually go to Norms & I wanted to try something new.
I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo chicken pasta. It was pretty good & the chicken was delightful.
The only thing I really didn’t like is that the ice cream machine wasn’t working, that’s part of the salad bar (all you can eat)! :)
The employees were very friendly & helpful, definitely going back to this Sizzler.
The restaurant was clean.

Strange as it may seem, I really like Sizzler. Came by when I worked for Time Warner Cable. There was really no line besides the old cranky lady that ask for too many napkins, said there was too many, then said there was too little on her plate.
Got the salad/​buffet bar. Made some tacos, ate all the salad, ate onion rings. It was great for around $ 13.
Parking isn’t bad but it smells terrible, they’re doing construction across the street.

I love sizzler, I like sizzler, I even go to the other Van Nuys sizzler on purpose despite their steaks tasting oddly, consistently horrible. But this one, hoo boy, I’m sorry but this one is a bad store.
Good things:
The counter employees were really nice.
Decent cheese toast.
… That’s it.
Problem things:
The salad bar was unevenly stocked, and was missing a few things every other sizzler has.
Rice pilaf was sticky and oily and clumpy.
Premade salads were ridiculously bland.
The wait staff ignored us for a solid hour, no hyperbole.
The cops were arresting someone in the parking lot and nobody acted like this was abnormal.
A homeless person was in this sizzler begging for money until the manager finally ran them off.
This store uses the old, wildly outdated, dark brown and green booth and table design of the previous decade and it’s all a bit tatty.
Look, I don’t mean to belittle this sizzler, I wanted to like it, it’s on the site of the old Farrell’s ice cream parlour, but this was a remarkably bad sizzler, and there’s a nicer one a few miles west on the same street (Sherman Way).

Decided to stop in for the current special $ 9.99. Was surprise that one of my choices was steak, linguini with shrimp and vegetables on the side That was a great deal. The food was as good.
I haven’t been to sizzler in a while but will go back. The restaurant was nice and clean. We sat next to a family that they were celebrating the father’s birthday I don’t think I ever seen people singing happy birthday at a sizzler

This is a corporate location. This location does a better job than the other location in the valley on Sherman way and that location is a franchise.
There was a few people in line, as I was taking as few pictures, the manager open another line. Good move by the manager to do that.
The presentation throughout the salad was very appealing and presentable during my visit. They had an employee who’s main function was keeping the salad bar fully stocked and looking presentable.
Any item on a buffet table such as Sizzler does, Hot items must be at 145 and above and cold items 41 below, no exceptions to this matter. They did a great job.
As for the interior its old and really needs a make over. Not a fan of carpet.
The service was good, The server was attentive Great Job. The new GM of this location give me a VIP card at 15% discount to use each and every time I visit this location. Thank You…

We’ve decided to give this place another try about one year later after my first visit in 2012. Now we can’t stop ordering food here. The food and service has gotten immensely better since 2012. No more overcooked steaks or bland salad bar!

For a Sizzler, this location is pretty good. I mainly wanted a salad bar, and thats why I stopped here.
There was a variety of green salads to choose from, along with numerous toppings and dressings. I chose toppings like garbanzo beans, beets and olives and everything was fresh. I also had some of the Tuna pasta salad, and Lobster salad on the side. It was all really good.
The Sizzler was clean, and the staff was very much on top of refilling the salad bar items. It was just that all the tables and furniture look really old. The place could really use a refurbishing.
