Best thing since Blockbuster ONLY BETTER!
I pay a monthly subscription to all those BS movie outlets like Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, direct tv, go to red box and never can find anything ! and it takes us hours to find something. So much time has beens wasted over the years until now!
It was the best thing I discovered on my way to work at 3am! The bright lights caught my eye, they lit up like a message from God, letting me know everything was gonna be ok. Lol
You have no idea how upset I get losing hours of my life trying to find a movie to snuggle w my wife.
Now we have star video and everything is gonna be ok!!! :)

Its funny because i always thought big, bold and bright video stores were a thing of the past. The big stores like Hollywood Video or Blockbusters are long gone and we are left with piece of crap hole in the wall, mom and pop video stores that smell inside and have barely anything… and here comes a big, brightly colored video store to breath some life into renting videos.
I personally hate Redbox and Netflix because i love real video stores where you can browse aisles and actually hold the cases and read about the movie while buying popcorn or candy and chit chatting about movies to the people behind the counter. I like having my 6 year old son running around the aisles picking a few movies hed like to rent for the weekend, and thats exactly what he does at Star Video.
This place used to house Video Hut which moved over by Valley College. Ive been going to Video Hut for many many years and i still do. So when i saw Star Video opening up i figured id try them because they are a mile from my house. I really like this place. They have alot to choose from and they are reasonably priced. The employees are decent, ive never had much contact with them except renting flicks. I really like the fact you can also rent video games here (why cant Redbox rent Wii U games?)
I really hope Star Video sticks around for many years. Unfortunately who knows with the internet age but i can hope… right?
Oh yeah… and their open until midnight. How cool is that?
