Friendly fast service and excellent product. I love their ice coffee because it’s not too sweet or weak. Excellent doughnuts. Definitely worth a try

I gave them five stars because their service is the best. I have two babies in tow whenever I get donuts so my hands are full– holding a toddler(takes away 1 arm); holding a 6 month old infant(another arm); heavy diaper bag; donuts and coffee. I’m an octopus, I know. The people here are kind enough to get my order quick and even help me into my car. They went that extra mile not only walking me to my car but being incredibly friendly with my little ones(talking to them about donuts) so they get my five stars and all my morning business.

Went here because we were in the area and I Unilocaled it. Sometimes I feel like doughnut shops are a hit or miss. This was definitely a hit! Small mom and pop shop that have delicious doughnuts! The owners were real nice and made sure I liked my iced thai tea. Good quality doughnuts that have croissant sandwiches too! Wish I lived closer because this would be my go to place for an iced thai tea and doughnuts :)

Support your local business! There is an article framed on the wall about how the owners came here as immigrants. In real life, the owners are nice too. The donuts are pretty good and the espresso machine makes great coffee. Across from the high school.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this place has among the best donuts and croissants I’ve ever eaten. If I’m going to indulge in a donut or croissant, I only do it from here because the taste is worth the calories. The croissants are always light and flaky, never greasy. The donuts are also equally light and delicious. My faves are the raisin croissant, chocolate croissant and the crumb cake donut. The glaze yeast donut is also fantastic. I’ve stopped hoping that the baked goods at the pricey grocery store I shop at will be good, and only buy them here. Whenever I serve the croissants at my house people are always AMAZED they come from a corner donut shop. Don’t let the humble appearances fool you. This shop knows its business, and the people who work there(I’ve interacted with Judy and Lucky mostly) are always extremely helpful. Btw, if you are getting a large order, call the night before. The popular items go fast!

Popped in real quick for a cappuccino to get me going this morning on my way to the dog park, and I have to say I was impressed! I thought it’d be another run-down donut shop but the place was really clean and well organized(and a ton of selection if you feel like simple donuts to croissant/bagel sandwiches!). The owner seemed pretty nice and chatted with me, asked me how I liked my drink and made sure I was happy when I left, which I can say is a lot more than I’ve gotten at most donut places. For $ 5.50 I got a great cappuccino, a tasty turkey bagel sandwich, and felt like I was well taken care of(an altogether better deal than Starbucks)… As far as the ATM issue, most places in LA take cash over cards so as a rule of thumb make sure you have a little cash in your wallet at all times and this won’t be a problem.

I used to go here until I met the lady. She is incredibly rude… you ask any question and she gets pissed off like you should know. She sets time limits for how long you can stay inside. Very rude. The guy is very nice and it seems that the lady browbeats him and he can’t do a thing. I’m afraid business is going away and they might shut down because of how the woman treats customers.

I remember coming here with my dad when I was kid. We would stop by after our morning walk on Balboa Park. I moved back to the area and this place is still here making good sandwiches and loading them up with meat. I like to stop by for the tuna sandwich on wheat or the breakfast croissant. The breakfast croissant with egg, turkey, sausage and avocado is very filling. It will easily hold you over to dinner. The staff is friendly and quick to prepared your order. Good neighborhood donut shop :)

3 Stars for the donuts 1 star for the service I walk in peruse the limited selection and ask for a maple bar, the chick behind the counter loudly says«AND?!!» Hmm…ok how about a small cup of coffee and some… «AND?!!» Uh…how about a little crea… «AND?!!» AND. bitch if you don’t shut the fuck up and stop asking me «AND?!!» i’m gonna cancel my motherfucking order and head to fucking Winchell’s! I looked at her and said«Please stop yelling at me, i’m trying to buy something here and you keep yelling at me like a redheaded step-child.» She didn’t get the last part, but she did apologize and let me finish my order with no further«AND’s!!!» The maple bar was fanfuckingtastic by the way.

Nope. I shan’t return. I walk in, the guy behind the counter says loudly, «YESS?!?» (before you ask«were they even open?», yes, they were, it was midday. and no, i’m a regular looking dude, wearing regular clothes, i wasn’t naked or dressed like a gangster.) I slightly smile because of the humorous rudeness. I say ‘hello’, and I scan the donuts… Now, I really only walked in because I was hoping to find a restroom, and score some coffee and a shweet. I asked if they took plastic, and guy said ‘no’, pointed to the ATM machine packed tightly in the corner behind a rack of chips. How the heck am I supposed to use that? And I thought it wasn’t worth it, given the rude welcome, the stares from others at the tables(family? staff? weird customers?), and the fact that I didn’t want to struggle for the ATM, and be charged $ 2 – 3 fee for a friggin donut and coffee.

I’ve been going to this establishment for years. I mean YEARS. My nephews attended Birmingham High School quite some time ago, and brought attention to this lovely place. Their donuts are delicious, but I am not too much of a fan for those. My favorites from here include their Blueberry Muffin, Iced Latte Boba, and croissant sandwiches. I go out of my way to visit these people at least twice a month. The whole family is a bunch of nice people. They keep the high school kids in check when they roam about the store, and are true business people. They were featured in the Daily News, and display the article on their wall. I enjoy talking to them, exchanging our life stories while I wait for my lovely coffee treat. They have my order memorized! I As long as I am in LA, they will have me as a customer.

THey’re great — the owners and family are über friendly… remember me everytime I come in and even know exactly how I take my coffee. Recently tried the donuts and they’re great… apple fritters. Parking is not so bad. Students can get bothersome but the owners keep tabs on loiterers versus actual customers.

I have been going to this donut shop since i was at Birmingham High School. They have great donuts, great prices, and a variety of drinks. You must try their warm ham and cheese crossiant. Parking lot is a bit small but what donut shop has a huge parking lot, right? I give this place a 10… a freakin 10 !!!

The doughnuts here are really good. They don’t look good at all but looks can be deceiving. They sell sandwiches but i’ve only ever had the dough nuts. The inside is really fluffly and a little gooey. Try to avoid it around the time birimingham gets out otherwise theres a lot of kids hanging around the place.
