I’m so pleased by my choice of Additional Self Storage in Vancouver. The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly, the driveways between the units are wide enough for two trucks to pass next to each other. Meaning you can load/unload and not worry about other folks needing to get around you. The setup process was pretty easy and I was able to create a unique entry code. Not sure what the other poster had an issue with the gate because it was clearly explained to me that the entry code would turn off the unit alarm, then it would reset the alarm when you used your code to exit the facility. Pretty simple stuff here. Oh and I should add now that it’s started the rainy season, my unit has remained dry inside. And we all know that’s important if you want your stuff to be usable once it’s out of storage. I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs storage space.

The facility is fine, the storage unit adequate. The problem I had was when I wanted to access my storage unit and drove through the gate behind another car as it was still open. The male manager ran out of the office screaming at me NOT TO DO THAT!!! Apparently you need to wait for the previous vehicle to go through gate, wait for it to close and then enter your code and wait for the gate to open again. But who knew? There is no sign anywhere explaining this, they never mentioned it to me when I leased the space and I did not appreciate this man running up to my care screaming and yelling at me.
