Found This company’s website on a Google search… liked their promises of affordable low prices, quality carpets. We had gone previously to Home Depot just to get an idea of a starting price and wanted to find a more affordable option. Scheduled a consult, Nick came by a couple days later as scheduled. He was a nice guy, made it clear he was just an installer not a sales guy though, but showed us some samples that seemed nice. He said the owner would call us with an estimate probably the next day after taking some measurements. Told him we were on a budget (not a ridiculously low budget but a budget none the less). He said no prob, owner is nice he will work with you. There are ways to keep it reasonable, etc. Got a call a couple days later from the other guy who I assume was the owner. Quoted us waaay higher than we expected for the small area we requested. He was not thorough with the information he gave at all, I had no idea what carpet type he was basing this quote off of, or pad size. Didn’t break down the charges either…(if we have to install it ourselves we will, so who knows he could have at least gotten a carpet sale!) Wasn’t any cheaper than Home depot. Told him that wasn’t going to work, so he says ok… what’s your budget? Told him our bottom line and he said he would work something out and call me back on Monday (he called Jan 30^th, a Saturday). It’s nearly 2 weeks later, never heard back. Surely negotiations or compromises could have been made but I guess we weren’t worth the time and courtesy of a follow up. I am not going to waste my time and chase after companies that don’t follow through. 2 stars, instead of 1 only because the installer had better customer service skills than the owner.
