Awful! This was the first Cinetopia so you’d think they’d want to keep up their flagship theatre. Went to a 7 p.m. first-run movie on a Friday night and the place was dead … we wondered where all the people were. Once inside the theatre we could see why. All — all — of the seats looked like they’d been vandalized, nor just a ltitle worn, but a lot. The floors were clean but the theatre had an odor. Won’t go back. No pride of ownership here — sad.

This Cinetopia is pretty worn out now as I’m sure you’ve gotten from the rest of the reviews. The projectors, screens and sound are all still great but the seats are pretty sketchy. I’m sure they have a plan to update now that the Mall location is finished and running so I’ll come back and update this review.

Went to the MIll Plain Cinetopia last night to see 13 Hours. We sat in theatre #4. There was not ONE seat in this entire facility that was worthy to sit in. Either the leather was missing completely, or it was torn or it was patched with duct tape, etc. What a shit hole this place is. We will never go back. Popcorn(small bag) $ 6.00, large soda — $ 6.00. RIP-OFF, nothing more.

So sad that they have let the flagship of these cinnema’s fall to pieces. Such an awesome concept. The auditorium was a mess; duct tape on the chairs, arms broken, dirty, carpet frayed. Living Room is fine, but that was after rennovations as well. My favored location on 7th, but won’t go there again. On top of that they were out of bottled water and charged $ 3.00 for tap water. I refused to pay that amount and asked for the manager. Got the money back but it was a process. Rudyard, what is wrong with you in letting it come to this? It’s obvious the focus in on your new locations. Please fix this ASAP!!! Guess I’ll head back to Regal.

Well. I am SUUUUPER disappointed. I have not gone to a movie outside of the living room theater in a year or so. Unfortunately, The Hateful 8 was not playing in the living room. Sheesh, the theaters are EXTREMELY run down. I mean, like, embarrassingly run down. I think every seat in the theater has duct tape on it. The majority of the seats are split, even through the duct tape. Sat in almost two rows of seats to find one that was not broken. I’m not sure what the smell is, something between sadness and despair. Why see a movie in coach when you can sit in the disgusting airplane bathroom. I need Lysol wipes. I feel like I need a shower. Get it together Cinetopia. You are supposed to be a luxury experience. You charge higher than average prices, invest some back into the theaters.

Living room theatre = 5 stars For the first time last night I went to a movie that wasn’t in the living room. Every seat in the theater was torn apart and smelt! It was hard to choose a seat because I was disgusted by all of them! The whole theatre had a bad scent. Cinetopia is always busy so they should use some of that money to make their facility nice. I will not be seeing a movie ever again unless it’s in the living room. Food is pretty good. I love their sweet potato fries! It’s sad to see this family owned business get sold to a corporation and now is going from 5 star reviews to 2 stars.

Theater was cool. 21 and up, alcohol, and food, way awesome seats. Down side, a little on the spendy side and went to a movie at 1 and it didn’t start until 1:45. It took awhile for someone to fix it. Also, appeared to be understaffed. Ticket window not open had to wait in concession line(only two open) to buy tickets. Not a great first experience. They did comp us with free passes to another movie, so that was nice. I would go back if it’s just the wife and me. I guess we’ll use the pass and see how the second experience goes.

Movie hasn’t started yet, but so far, not really impressed. I realize this theater is around 14 years old, but for the normal prices people pay here, you’d think they could make sure the seats are in good repair and the theaters are clean! We were the first ones in the Grand Auditorium 3 and found three seats ‘out of order’, the rest very worn and not appealing. As we walked across the floors, they were very sticky. I hope the movie is good so we didn’t fully waste our Christmas gift of movie tickets!

Food like a high school cafeteria. The parlor theater smells like a hamster cage. Just horrible, avoid this place.

This location is getting pretty dated. Some of the seats are ripped and patched up with duct tape. The prices are so expensive unless you go on a reduced price day. Compared to the other cinetopia’s this theater needs a definite upgrade.

I’m a big fan of Cinetopia in general. I used to live over by Vancouver Mall, so I frequented that Cinetopia. Like, frequently. I could literally walk there, buy an overpriced pitcher of beer and stumble home. Now I live over by this one off Mill Plain. I love that it’s a Vinotopia, but am saddened by their sad little beer list. I guess I’ll have to make the journey back to the mall when I want a fabulous beer selection with my movie. The food menu is always adventurous, and surprisingly less expensive at this location. I do also appreciate how the living room theaters are 100% adults only here, unlike the setup at the mall. I’ve read somewhere that they do tightwad Tuesdays. That’s probably the best movie deal in the industry. Can’t beat rocking chairs, ottomans, food and booze service while at the movie theater!

Cinetopia is supposed to be a step up in the theater experience. The theater is horribly maintained, smelled strange and the seats look like they were reclaimed from a thirty year old North Korean army barracks. Won’t give this company any more of my money, there are plenty of theaters in the area that actually care about the experience they provide.

Had way higher expectations. I’ve been to these types of movie theatres before and have had a much more pleasant experience. It smells rancid in these rooms. As if food has been stuck between the cushions of the couches for several days or beverages have been soaked into the carpet. The smell was distracting. The seats are no more comfortable than a newer movie theatre seat at Regal, Edwards, AMC, etc. My pizza slice had no sauce on it. And hardly any cheese. My boyfriends sandwich was«the worst sandwich» he ever had. These pricey meals tastes like a cheap school lunch or TV dinners from the 99 € store. The chips were very good though. Our experience was one to keep us from coming back to this place. It’s not worth it to go here vs. the regular movie theatre. I’ll pass.

What happened to this place? The seats are all duct taped together and the fake leather is all worn off. I used to think cinetopia was a few steps above Regal. Guess that is no longer the case. Sad.

Seats are falling apart, covered in duct tape with giant holes in the ‘leather’. 80.00 for food that consisted of a burned hamburger with fries so crispy and salty they were inedible. A dry turkey and brie(left the dry chalky skin on the brie) panini with unsalted, unflavored potato chips… My kids did enjoy their sliders, but again, the fries were inedible burned crumbs of potato’s. The food would have been marginally acceptable at a late night diner… Instead it was 80.00 worth of regret. It used to be a great experience, now it’s more like a B-run 3.00 theater. Goodbye Mill Plain Cinetopia, we won’t be back.

The living room theater concept is great. The food is solid overall and it is much nicer than your average Theater. Also the wine room is pretty cool. I knocked a star off(almost two) because in the past the tap water in the theater has been terrible. I’m not sure what the deal is because the water in the restaurant is fine from my experience. Literally, terrible water…

This place is P aight. It’s a movie theater, so it’s air conditioned and stuff and if you like movies you should come here because they show movies here and the movies are good sometimes. Sometimes… But there’s nothing that necessarily makes this theater bad or good, it’s just a movie theater. Only thing is the service was kinda bad and the 3D glasses were never given to us. Other than that, it’s a movie theater. TL;DR: Come here if you want to see a movie.

Went to see a movie here today(7−1−15). I was a little excited because someone had told me that it was a nice theatre. Now I’m wondering what type of «theatre» and dodgy area this person would think was bad! Upon arriving there was no one at the outside service windows ANDNO sign to direct you elsewhere. We went inside and the lady said that there was a sign. It was next to the register, on the counter. not at the window. Viewable from the INSIDE not the outside of the theatre/concession counter. Regardless, we worked that out. Majority of the seats are duct taped together, the backs and headrests of the chairs are worn and smell. You don’t feel as though you can sit back and relax in fear of catching something or getting head lice. The arms of the chairs had some type of fabric and cushion, at one time but not currently. They’re worn and shabby. The floor was sticky. If someone tells me the restaurant area is much nicer, I won’t take any chances seeing how this theatre does not upkeep NON food areas. Shutter at the thought.

This place is going down hill fast… some seats are broken, torn up with worn upholstery, food is overpriced for so-so food… They are not fulfilling on their promise(and price) of a FIRSTCLASSEXPERIENCE. The Wineatopia tasting room is pretty cool and worth dropping 20 trying some new wines…
