I have been going to this location on a regular basis for the last ten years. The last 2 months the service has been horrible. I have had to have them fix my order twice and then this weekend I went there and as you can see from the picture attached they put out a product that is just embarrassing. I emailed the owner at and let him know about this and he still has not emailed me back. I won’t be returning to this location that’s for sure!

Probably the worst Dairy Queen in Vancouver! Staff is extremely rude and always mess something up.

Showed up and there was a guy in front of us ordering. The staff seemed very unorganized. We placed our order and so did a couple people behind us. We got our whole order except a drink. We had to go ask for it again and it was just sitting there in the blender. We saw a few orders of other customers get mixed up while we were eating. The staff attempts to be friendly, they came by our table a couple of times to ask how things were going. We requested extra peanuts and were told it was an extra charge. When we left the guy that ordered before us was still waiting for his food. There were a lot of flies in the dining area, they got pretty annoying. Only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is because the food actually tasted good.

We came today to support the Children’s Miracle Network. We went to order, I asked the girl at the front if they were participating she shrugged her shoulders and said«I don’t know». Took 10 minutes to get 2 blizzards a banana split and a cone. Blizzards all came out the wrong size, come came out the wrong flavor. The same lady that took our order delivered and threw the items away and never apologized. I’m not sure what the law is about using gloves when preparing food but if you have long nasty uncared for acrylic nails you SHOULD wear gloves. Also the cook in a loud enough voice for us to hear asked«what are all these people doing in my restaurant?» That makes customers feel welcome. The only one really running around working was the manager. Most likely won’t come back here! !

The line at the drive-up was really long the afternoon we went to this DQ for a blizzard and a milkshake so we went inside to place our order. We waited approximately 10 minutes while the cashier helped the three people ahead of us. As well, there was a mother with two children who were waiting for there orders … and a father with two children seated who were just served ice cream. And, two people came in behind us. So, the restaurant had a dozen or more people … a bit noisy and chaotic. But the noise level and chaos behind the counter was much worse. The cashier … this young woman was loud, brash and borderline rude. When my husband ordered a chocolate milkshake she asked if he wanted that made with chocolate ice cream … he said no, thank you just a chocolate shake. She flippantly said … Well, I like mine with chocolate ice cream! My husband just said … I don’t. She didn’t say another word to either of us as he handed her the money and she made change. Then, we waited … and waited … and waited some more. Finally, my Heath Blizzard was brought forth. I expected a thick, chunky blizzard with a spoon in the center standing tall. Nope, what I got was a slightly thick blizzard with a few chunks of Heath bar. And I was handed the spoon. This blizzard could NOT have been held upside down. Nope, no way. Then we waited … and waited for the arrival of the chocolate shake. About the time I approached the counter to inquire as to how it could take this much longer to make a shake then a blizzard … a nice young woman asked if I wanted whipped cream and a cherry with that. I said yes. She filled the top with whipped cream … handed me the shake and a straw … hmm, a cherry? Nope, no cherry. Why ask me if I want one and then not give it to me. Hmm. We watched a man approach the counter and order a menu item only to be told that they no longer had that item … it was seasonal. He left the store … you could tell he was frustrated … he had stood in long, long time. There was no apology for the long, long wait … or when an order got screwed up. Instead what I saw was the manager(I think) take the cook to task for messing up the burger order and made her(the cook) take the replacement burger out to the customer at their table. I felt badly for the cook. And the customers that had to witness poor management style. So, my review … simple … this place is not worth the trip … the wait is long … the food is not up to DQ standards … the service sucks … even the receipt lacks a phone number to call or a code to enter their survey site. There is chaos behind the counter. Too much noise … too many people telling each other what they should be doing. And someone really ought to address the food wastage … orders not filled properly. While we waited in line we saw them have to remake two ice cream cone orders and a hamburger order. What happens to that food??? I can safely tell you … after several unsatisfactory trips to this location, which is pretty close to my residence … we will NOT bother to stop there again … not even for ice water. The place is a joke. The new management at this location needs schooling by other more successful DQ franchises in our city … MacArthur or Main St. In future … we will continue to make the trip to MacArthur DQ … where the food is consistently good … and the customer service is always outstanding!

After September manager s. This place went from great, to a joke. It was like everything was instantly crappy. Chicken strips new name is «the rubber chicken» blizzards are now blizzard milkshakes. Btw. Do not turn them upside down. We tried this location after new management 3 times. Every time there was a major issue. The last and final time, we called and very nicely told them my order was just bad. They told me «if you can’t come back tonight we will not help you. Really? I mean really? I’m looking forward to the day it gets purchased by someone that knows what they are doing.

For the last couple times that I have visited this location, they have messed up orders, have had the worse attitude and playing explicit music loud at the window when we were there. At this visit, I had orders a Small M&M blizzard and when she gave me the order it was a Mini. I asked her and she said it was the small. I have gotten a small a few times and it was never a kids size and they charged me for a small. My boyfriend had asked for no whip cream and they gave him whip. This isn’t the first time they have messed them up. When we got to the window, they were playing music that was blaring to the point they couldn’t hear anyone talk and to top it off they were playing music with F*** and N*****. That is not what should be playing. I will not be coming her again.

The service is just not good here. Went here a few days ago when it was really hot ordered a couple blizzards when I got up to the window they told me their card Machine wasn’t working. And although my blizzards were already made they wouldn’t give them to me :(soo tonight I gave them a second chance only because I was CRAvINg a blizzard bad. Well first of all we waited forever behind another car while the girls in the window argued. Once I got up there my blizzards sat there a while until one girl suddenly grabbed my card from me. Then the other girl started to hand me my blizzard and asked if I had paid. I told her the other girl already had my card. She repeated her question I repeated my answer as the other girl handed me my receipt. No one spoke to me beside that. Just very awkward and rude. PS I love cookie dough but seriously the amount in my blizzard was sickening!

The people at this dairy queen for some reason can’t fill a basic order. I can understand and forgive a mistake the first time. But this was the third and last time I will ever go here. All I did was ask for no sause on my burger. Instead I get sause. I asked for jalapeño bacon. Which I did not get. this was the third chance and last time I will ever go here if I could not give any stars I would. I tipicly don’t like to give a bad review. But this place deserves it.

Half assed and very disappointing. Ordered and paid for extra butterfinger, got less than one serving. The other blizzard wasn’t even mixed up, the whole bottom half had no candy at all, they didn’t turn either one upside down and put soda lids on them. Got home a few blocks away and the ice cream was half melted.

I drive the Pacific northwest for my work. I stop at dairy queens for lunch. I love the chicken strip lunch. Today I went to this one. The girl working was rude. They upcharged me TODEATH. The meal I usually get with upgrades that typically costs me $ 9.00 was $ 13.00+ they charged me $ 1.20 for two fry sauces. It was insane!

If you love DQ, don’t let this one location ruin it for you. The service is notoriously awful here. long waits, cashiers who cough on their hands, wipe it on their jackets then hand you your ice cream cone. Since they run around like chickens with their heads cut off, they never get your order right, so you may want to repeat it… four or five times to be sure. Clearly no leadership for the staff… a swift kick in the pants training wise would go a long way here.

My medium strawberry banana smoothie just went from $ 2.43 to $ 3.90 when it was bought July 12, 2014. Not only that, but it now tastes different every time I go there. The Dairy Queen a mile away in Orchards has my smoothie for $ 2.89, but at leasts it tastes right. My other gripe is that no one seems to know how the drive-thru window works. All the new people are taking one order, then letting the line back up into the street while filling that one order, instead of taking three orders so that the cooks can actually make it. Amateurs.

This is my and my husband’s most favorite Dairy Queen in the area. They seem to be the only one(that we have tried, and no, we have not tried them all) who know how to make a Blizzard treat correctly. Blended all the way through to the bottom so that my Reese Cup pieces are mixed throughout. The other locations we have tried tend to only partially mix them and the candy is only sprinkled on the top. Not my kind of Blizzard. As for the employees, they super nice and friendly. Per the other reviewers, maybe management has changed within the year? It is better so give it another chance :)

This is probably our least favorite DQ in the ‘Couve. It’s not awful, but the service is often half-assed and the staff are pretty snotty especially in the drive-through. Which might be the only reason this one gets visited at all anymore; the rest of the DQ stores on this side of town are all walk-up or walk-in stores. The food is okay, but pretty flat and low-flavor in comparison to stores like East Mill Plain or MacArthur, and the Main St store has a lot more nostalgia value and definitely does better dips and dipped cones. The young ladies who work at this store seem to be more decorative than functional, but hey, it is fast food. The thing is, we honestly do expect better service from DQ than from Mickey D’s or the Big King, and here it really does just fall flat of that.

While I LOVE Dairy Queen. if you expect Dairy Queen presentation(signature curly on your ice cream cone top) and polite service, this is not the store to visit. This has to be the most unfriendly group of people to ever work a drive thru or care about quality of product/presentation. It’s close to my home and every time I go there(never again after today’s experience) it’s just disappointing/lacking. While the owners are very nice, once I had to actually show them the product I was given, you sometimes wish they hired people as polite as they seem.
