When I first signed up at this storage unit they assured me that they don’t raise the storage rent much and if they do it’s usually $ 5 to $ 10 dollars. I have had my stuff at there storage facility for two years and they have changed my monthly rate 5 times and increase the rent more than 50%. Don’t fall into their trap of a low price the first 3 months then jack up the price by 40% and now 50%.

First Jeffrey has been very helpful and accommodating as we have had multiple units at once and have needed to coordinate various combination of available sizes. As we have consolidated and downsized Jeffrey has assisted us throughout the process AND now Julie has further extended this site’s incredible service. Highly recommended!

Please look elsewhere. Raised the rent twice within a year. Management doesn’t return phone calls, doesn’t take responsibility for their mistakes, and isn’t available when needed. The 877 number will try to pass you off to the individual storage facility, and the individual storage facility will pass you off to the 877 number. NO ACCOUNTABILITY whatsoever.
And on top of that: MICE/​RATS! Left crap all over our boxes, chewed through a couch and some blankets. Of course the manager on duty said they had no rat issues and was completely unresponsive when it came to insurance claim (even though you are required to pay for insurance). Extra Space doesn’t handle the insurance — even though they charge you for it — they just pass you off to another third party. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.
Please. Look. Elsewhere.
