Worst customer service experience I have had in quite some time. I took my 2010FJ Cruiser to this location a year ago and they did a good job so thought I would return even though this location is very much inconvenient for me. Regardless, I was willing to wait the 1 ½ weeks it took to get an appointment. I use my vehicle for work so having it out of commission for a whole day really impacted my productivity but I thought it would be worth it for a quality service. First, when I called the receptionist was completely unhelpful. Even though I explained to her that I wanted an interior detail, she encouraged me to get what they call the«express wax» which she said would include cleaning all interior surfaces(I have no carpet in my vehicle.) This was also the only option she gave me that was anywhere near what I paid last year so I figured she must know what she was talking about. I dropped my vehicle off at 9am and waited in the lobby for some time before poking my head in the shop to get someone’s attention. When I spoke with the man inside(he was very friendly) he informed me that what was scheduled does not include services on the interior. He explained the«interior cleaning» wasn’t any more«detailed» than what they do at the car wash next door. If I wanted to take my car through the car wash I wouldn’t have driven across town, waited nearly two weeks OR asked a friend a huge favor by having her pick me up and drop me. The man informed me that the receptionist would call me to discuss this matter further. Around 3pm that day the call came in. She informed me that they did not have time to clean the interior of my car that day and that I would need to reschedule. On top of that, I was quoted a price that far exceeded what I paid for last year. I asked for a discount and was informed that was the discounted rate. At this point, I was over it and cancelled the service. Mind you, I lost a whole day without a vehicle in the process. Again, I had my friend drive me across town to pick up my vehicle. At the very least, I was expecting they might have ran it through the car wash for the inconvenience. Nope. The girl at the front desk handed me my keys without even an apology for the incontinence. I will NEVER return. Word of advice from a colleague– try a mobile detailing service! I’ve since looked it up online and the prices were MUCH better hopefully without the headache.

The entire Finishline team is outstanding! My midnight blue 2013 Scion FR-S had moderate-to-severe paint swirls from a poor delivery prep job, and I didn’t know what to do. My dealer called three different detailing shops in Vancouver and decided Finishline was the place to go after speaking with Cassidy, the excellent front desk helper who completely sold Markus, the store manager, who has years of experience as the head of Nissan’s detailing shop and specializes in dark cars. I met with Markus and he let me know that he would do his best, but there was always the possibility that he wouldn’t be able to get all the paint swirls out. I appreciated his honesty. I am extremely picky, and when I got my FR-S back, it was pure perfection. I’m ecstatic to have found a local auto detailer who offers such great service for such reasonable prices. Markus, Cassidy, Sherry(Markus’ wife) and the entire Finishline team are absolutely amazing — I can’t recommend them more!
