Love this place, had a soy mocha and it was amazing. They serve majority of there stuff is organic. Where else can you find that.

Awful, luke warm, hours old coffee from a pump thermos. I ordered a shot in the dark and when the attendant made it, she poured an already made«shot of espresso» in it. So if you want pre-made hours old lukewarm coffee, this is your place!

A solid 3. It’s nice enough, cute enough, clean enough. I only ever get the house coffee. You have to wander a bit to find the bathrooms. That’s cool; back in the day, this space was probably an insurance office or something. No doubt several businesses shared the facilities. They seem to have all the bubble teas, smoothies, vegan choices and whatnot that have come to be expected at places like these. One thing– they don’t do ‘early’. There are times when I drop my wife off early and would really like to give these folks my money instead of some chain. I’m not sure just when they start their day but it’s too late to catch me. Bummer.

Nice place and friendly staff, but $ 6.50 for an iced latte? Yikes.

Good bagel tea and coffee but the proprietor is stingy. You have to pay extra for a reasonable amount of cream cheese otherwise it’s just a very thin coating. Tea is brewed with loose leaves which is fine but was too weak. And I like my tea weak. The ambrosia was a delicious blend though. Minimal tea and coffee condiments. Nice live acoustic guitar even at this Am hour. But wouldn’t go back. Too many better options.

I have stopped by this place a few times while working on client projects. I like the fruit smoothies here because they use real fruit. They can also customize it, like sugar free, etc. It’s a nice coffee shop with comfortable seating and a great menu if you need to grab a wrap or some other snack.

I had been looking for a more local place to get yummy bubble tea and I was super excited to stumble upon this place while browsing Unilocal. I finally had the chance to stop by for a minute today on my way back to work and I’m soooo happy I did! This place is adorable and homey. They have a very wide selection of teas, smoothie flavors, and coffee. All organic and delicious. The staff was quick and the gal who took my payment was so adorable and sweet! I loved chatting with her. I’m definitely going to start stopping by more often as this place is only a 3 minute drive from my work. :)

Shitty, shitty coffee. Ordered a mocha, but it tasted like chared toast — not sweet, not coffee, just char.

Vegans!!! This is a hidden gem on Main Street! TONS of vegan options; smoothies, coffee, tea and bubble tea! Including soy, rice, almond, coconut and hemp milk! Organic is a big deal, too and Gaia Java gets it right! Plus, 80% of the pastries are vegan as well ~ right on! I highly recommend swinging in, alone or with a group. Fantastic atmosphere with amazing artwork for sale… Will definitely be coming here more often: o)

Stopped in for a fruit smoothie. It ended up being a quarter of a very rotten banana and 3 small strawberries. Mix in a ton of ice and syrup and there you go. Nasty. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

$ 1.00 extra to make a drink a breve because I used a payback coupon that benefits schools??? Not even Starbucks charges that much! Horrible frowny service to boot. Wow. I’ve always tipped before when I used a coupon, I come in every time I have business in the area(regularly) and while the service has been mediocre in the past this was just ridiculous. No way I was tipping for that. Why even offer the coupons if you’re going to be grumpy about it every time someone goes in? In contrast Compass coffee a block a way has über great coffee and service whether I use a school coupon or not. I will stick to going there!

Went here for a quick lunch and coffee. I loved the light crispiness of the toasted bagel with cream cheese. So yummy! Their pumpkin scones looked amazing. They also brewed up a fresh pot of coffee. It was very tasty and had great friendly service. Will go here for breakfast and coffee again! They also had really beautiful and colorful art on the walls that really added nicely to the ambiance and the welcoming feel.

Good sandwiches. The turkey with strawberry jam had great flavor. I’m not a fan of the coffee, taste if off.

I am an organic and dairy free freak so this is my little heaven spot. Love this cute little shop, especially their Mocha that they made in house, dairy free and organic… yummy!!! I love the fact that they go out of their way to carry all kinds of alternative milk and their smoothies is to die for just the fact that they actually uses fresh fruits and based it with coconut milk. I don’t think there is any coffee shop that does that and go the extra miles to carry all their milk in organic as well. LOVE love love!!!

This café is my go-to fix for a perfect tea latte. They have a great variety of teas(not powder) that can be made with any kind of milk you want. I don’t do dairy and I try to limit my soy intake. I’ve honestly never tried the coffee or any snacks here. But, a Dragon Phoenix latte with coconut milk? Yes, please!

Mom and I went in for a little coffee date. Cute place! But the coffee… Oh the coffee. Badly burnt espresso on both of ours. The bathrooms were in a different building through a maze! Odd experience overall.

Just bought a spicy chai tea latte using a coupon through my son’s school… Very tasty. They had a variety of loose leaf teas and foods in addition to coffee drinks. Cute Asian inspired décor and a convenient downtown location.

Gaia Java is a well lit comfortable space in downtown Vancouver. They have great coffee, robust wi-fi and friendly service. Besides a variety of coffee drinks, they serve a wide variety of teas, fruit smoothies, and sandwiches. They also carry Amy & Brian Coconut Juice(full disclosure: I represent the brand and think its the best). Highly recommended for a good place to work or stop in for a quick beverage.
