Live just down the road from this place and it is fantastic! Everything on the menu is great! So take your pick or just try all of them!

Just heard Goldie’s on the radio yesterday, and drove out to try it for lunch today. Loved the brisket sandwich and mac n cheese… just great! I also had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with the owner. He is a class act, a great guy, and runs an amazing restaurant. Must try!

Ehhhh came in for lunch. Ordered the beef ribs because I saw good reviews. The ribs were very tough I wasn’t a fan of them. I would have given them 2 stars but everyone was very friendly. Not from the area but if I ever visit again or friends come here I probably won’t be recommending Goldie’s, sorry

This place is amazing! They have some of the best pulled pork around. The service is always great too– friendly vibes and great people. I’ve never had to wait for more than 10 min for my food. Will definitely be back :)

What the ribs lacked in flavor, they more than made up for in toughness. The sauces tasted like they came from a can and the potato salad seemed mass produced at a factory somewhere. The brisket was shredded, so it’s harder to tell what you are eating.

This place is legit BBQ for the Couve. Very good pulled pork, brisket & hot links sandwiches. A favorite for a sinfully delicious lunch but a little outside of the city proper. A consistent place for awesome CUE! The staff are very friendly and courteous and the place is adorned with pro armed services, martial arts and boxing posters. Technically a Sports bar type place but I’ve never gone in there after working hours, but you can get a cold beer with your meal so another plus there! Check em out if you find yourself craving brisket and potato salad in East Vancouver!

Oh gosh, delicious pulled pork sandwiches with their home style potato salad. The pork was so tendered and the sauce was so good. Service quick with friendly and attentive staff. My friend also loved their baby back ribs… A little bit pricey though!!!

Ordered the two meat special. The pulled pork was very good, a little dry and chewy but well within the rights of tender and tasty. The spare ribs were tender and juicy. The mesquite smoky bbq flavor was awesome. I’m not a particular fan of Mac and cheese but this stuff was worth finishing. It tasted like actual cheese melted into the macaroni. Lastly the baked beans were very good. They offer mild medium and hot. I ordered the medium and it was the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. I mixed a bit of the pulled pork in with it and oh man! I’ll be returning, very good and good service.

Unilocal seriously does not give me enough stars to properly rate Goldie’s! At least ten stars! Hands down the best barbecue in Vancouver, in the Pacific Northwest. It is amazing! The staff is incredibly nice! The atmosphere is very relaxed and we even got to enjoy some great live music! I will be back for sure, as well as bringing friends and family to show them what barbecue is all about! Thanks so much for opening this wonderful little place that makes the taste buds and the tummy super happy! Even the wallet was happy! :)

Quote on the back of their shirts said«Best BBQ in the world.» While I don’t know enough about BBQ to say if I agree, I do have to admit that it was super busy during the lunch rush. We tried the beef brisket, pulled pork and spare ribs with the BBQ sauce on the side. My husband liked the BBQ sauce a lot. It wasn’t syrupy or super sweet. Definitely wasn’t strongly tomato flavored either. But I am not sure what base it was. Maybe brown sugar and vinegar? Idk Beer was limited to Backwoods IPA And Amber(in a can), PBR(can) and some typical bottles like Blue Moon, Des chutes black butte porter and a few others(nothing on tap). I am going to try out a few other small/local BBQ places and update my review when I have a better opinion. Overall, seems to be a typical quick BBQ spot, and I wasn’t blown away or even impressed, but it was ok.

This place used to be my favorite BBQ in Vancouver when they were in their food cart and then the back of the shell gas station. With great sadness I must report that they have slid far away from the glorious BBQ heaven I loved. Still good BBQ but the portions have gotten smaller and smaller, prices have increased significantly and the quality has drastically dropped. Their new restaurant is great the service is awesome and the fact that they provide free MMA and boxing viewing is stellar; however, I long for the days of the giant delicious BBQ bliss that I used to get in the back of the shell gas station.

This guy started out down the street inside a quickie mart. Now he has a nice restaurant. You know why? Because he smokes those ribs all day long and then smokes ‘em some more! The food here is delicious, a bit pricy but the best stuff always costs a little more, now doesn’t it?

I had the brisket and beef ribs, two meat plate along with a side of corn bread and mac & cheese. I got no sauce on the meats as that’s how I believe good BBQ should be. The brisket was delicious, the ribs not so much. The brisket was nice and lean but still very tender and tasty. The ribs were very over cooked, dry and like dried up jerky on the end. Flavor was so so. The mac & cheese was some of the best I’ve had. Good flavor with chewy cheesey outer crust. The corn bread was awesome as well. Looking forward to trying their wide variety of other items(already decided on the gizzards and peach cobbler for next time). Just don’t think I’ll do the beef ribs again.

This was a new destination as far as food goes for me. I have been to other restaurants like it before, but never have I met such friendly people working a restaurant before going here. The owner came around and greeted everyone in the restaurant at the time, chatting with newcomers and regulars alike. and the Christian atmosphere was very nice. it felt like a safe place to be. the food was delicious, I can’t even stress how good it was, I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich lunch meal. as it was the special that day. And it was delicious, If I could I would have liked to try everything on the menu. I highly recommend this place for a family night out to dinner. Or if you crave something with a little more Texas to it. As far as I know they used to(and maybe still do) frequent the Vancouver farmers market.

Best barbecue place we have eaten at so far! We ordered pulled pork, smoked sausage and beef brisket and it was all delicious! We chose baked beans and Mac n cheese as sides. They were very good as well. The Side of deep fried okra was amazing! Yum! We will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and provide top notch service. All their meats are slow cooked and smoked over a day. The sauces and food are exceptionally delicious. Even the sides are done perfectly(you gotta try their greens). I’ve lived in Vancouver for 16 years and it’s by far the best BBQ I’ve had in Washington or Oregon.

First time here and WOW! Great food! Super delicious ribs and pulled pork sandwich. Considering that I’m not a pie person I must say that their sweet potato pie made this meal a sweet ending! :)

Went here the other night to get some BBQ to go. As a recent transplant from Texas, I feel well qualified to judge a BBQ place. This place was great! Tasty BBQ sauces of varying heat levels. Really good collared greens! The BBQ beans had cinnamon in them which was different but a nice surprise. We tried the sausage and the brisket. The brisket was nice and lean, not a pile of fat chunks. The best part was getting to peer into the kitchen while I waited and seeing them make things from scratch. Gives legitimacy to a place to know your food isn’t from a prepackaged vat from Sysco foods or something.

I would not go back and regret the time and $ spent! Terrible hamburgers. Small freezer style patties and ours was dry/overcooked. Even cooked right, it was a pathetic burger. Onions rings and fries taste and look like they picked them up frozen at Safeway. Our fries that came with the burger were literally the broken ones from the bottom of the bag they get their fries from. Fried mac n cheese was also, terrible. Service was forgettable. Time it took to get the food, unforgettable. Store atmosphere is cluttered. 2 stars because we got a pound of brisket for 15 bucks that tasted ok.
