What a fantastic idea! It’s like the Goodwill of home improvement stores. Granted, they only take quality donations, but they use the money from proceeds to build homes. I think it’s a fantastic idea! I also bought a home right down the street, so I’ll be visiting as I make improvements myself. I recently signed up to volunteer at the restore. They’re always needing help, so sign up! Volunteers get discounts of already fantastic prices for gently used, upcycled, and brand new materials.

Giving with a purpose. Shopping with hope. Serving with humility. This Habitat for Humanity«Re-Store» offers a great deal for home improvements or used furniture while also keeping our junk out of the environment. It’s a win-win-win for everyone. Besides the general greater good, there are three direct positives for Vancouver and all of Clark County. The Habitat for Humanity Store serves as * Donation Center 9:00 am — 4:30 pm * Home Improvement«Re-Store» * Volunteer opportunity for groups, families, or individuals In the store you’ll feel find * A free rack up front * Wood and lumber * Carpet * Laminate & Flooring * Sinks & Toilets * Building materials * Furniture * Hardware and tools Recycling also is available including the chance to recycle metal and recycle paint. I just spent the morning volunteering and was especially impressed with the work ethic and service attitude of the staff and volunteers. I’m motivated to return to donate, shop, and volunteer.
