Julie Moe – State Farm Insurance Agent

I have used Julie Moe’s office for auto insurance, homeowners insurance, life-​insurance, home loan, and State Farm Bank. Julie and her staff are VERY helpful, supportive and professional. I have had nothing but positive outcomes from her office!

Ok… I have to be honest… I haven’t even bothered to shop around for rates since moving to WA in 2005 because Julie Moe has always been so great with immediately answering any questions or concerns I have. I feel confident should I (knock on wood!!!) need to file a claim it will be as smooth of a process as possible and that to me is worth staying with her.
My mom called the other day so excited that Julie talked with her and Julie told her she believed she’s over insured on one of her policies previously set up and let her know she could save lots of money by lowering it a bit. I mean… who does that?!
Also, just found out I could have gone to Julie for my mortgage loan on my house… DRATS!!! Just a few weeks too late and I am super bummed I missed out on the opportunity to go through her.

Terrible experience, there’s an obvious lack of communication between the agency and the customers when any policy/​billing changed happens. I’m very aware of the fact that insurance companies do things weird and I thought the job of the agency is to be the communication between the company and the customer, at this agency the communication is not there. I received a large bill and have yet to be given a clear statement that makes sense as to why my bill is so high, I contacted the agency and told them I was upset about this, their only answer was to ask me to remove some of my coverages… What? I have those coverages cause I need them. I have asked on 3 occasions for my autopay to have a one time stop and they didn’t stop it, which happened again after getting this huge bill! I told the ladies at the agency I was so upset over the situation that I was taking my business elsewhere, she said nothing. The agent didn’t contact me to see why, nobody cared. I went into the office to see what was really going on with my bill and how these situations can be prevented in the future and nobody is willing to take responsibility for their actions, I was basically told its all my fault cause I didn’t reply to an email about my bill being last due. Which the lack of communication I’m frustrated with had nothing to do with my past due bill. The lady I met with was extremely rude and refused to let me even explain completely what I needed and why I was upset, she continuously pointed fingers at other people in the office and directly at me, even raising her voice at me. Still after everything that’s gone on, all the mistakes made on their part, and leaving their office nearly in tears by the way I was treated by employees, I have never once been contacted by the agent. I just can’t believe the lack of customer service for such a large agency.

Julie Moe and her staff of experts have always handled our every need professionally and timely. We switched over when the savings were too great not to. I wish I had done it years ago! I would recommend Julie’s office and the services they provide to all my friends. Even my enemies! Everyone needs a good insurance agent in their life!

I had an awful experience with this office. I had accidentally missed a payment and nobody called to remind me until after my policy had lapsed. They said they sent a notice but if you know State Farm you know you get about 10 notices a month from them especially when you have 3 policies and a car loan through them. I mostly just thought everything was good until I got a call that I was no longer insured. My old agent, and my new one, always called and let me know by phone so I could make sure I get it taken care of.

I had a very bad experience with them, they gave me a quote and I paid the first installment, after the first month I received a letter stating that my monthly payments will go up. I call back and find out that the agent that filled out my application at Julie Moe’s office put an old address of mine, so when the system actualized my address my insurance went up!!! The agents could not help me and let me down, even when it was THEIR mistake, The agent that filled my application just told me: «You know it was just a quote and it can change» STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE, they don’t stand by your side when you need them.
