Went here for the first time yesterday. We were in the neighborhood and thought we’d see what it’s all about. Didn’t disappoint at all, very decent place, down to earth, definitely has a military feel which is nice. Service was great and selection was awesome. Didn’t try any of the food but for sure the taps were great. Even took a couple bottles home from the cooler. Will come back for sure any time we’re in the area, which seems more often than we though.

Love the owners and their unflinching support for our military. But their beer selection and food are the bomb. We are always made to feel welcome when entering the establishment. If you like meatballs — THIS IS THE PLACE! The sauce is chunky and rich with a nice light parm topping. The bits of basil sprinkle thru out are delicious!

Been there a couple of times and they’re not shy of excellent customer service and knowledge of the mass multitudes or ever rotating craft beers.

What an awesome place! Went here with family for some awesome beers and had a great time. The beer selection is great and the food was excellent. Nicest people to talk with too! Glad we went! We will be back!

Pete has created an excellent watering hole for the beer lover in need of a pint. Tasty, rotating selection of brews to please any palate.

Lots of good beers. Food is great, particularly the nachos, albeit a little pricey. Good atmosphere with a low d-​bag quotient. My only real gripe is that I ended up being charged for a beer I never got, but it wasn’t worth going back and complaining about. Nice place.

I have been going here for several years and it has consistently been a treat.
21 rotating taps and a small menu of food offers a nice way to enjoy a well priced evening. NWLG has been expanding and proving increasing services to its customers that shows a true dedication to a vision of great beer and a great time no matter the season.

My Sweethearts daughter in law recommended their cider. We don’t drink beer, but we do like a good hard apple cider. So we stopped in and tried the Ace Berry hard cider with blackberry and raspberry… soooooooo tasty!
We liked it so much we purchased a growler to take to a party the next day. And it was a big hit as we celebrated a birthday in the country, in a field, around a roaring fire (10 feet tall or so!) and sipped our berry cider while wrapped up in blankets… (Okay, so I’m a wuss one September hits…)
While we were at NW Liquid Gold we had the opportunity to talk with the Owner, Pete. I like how they support the Military and Veterans. That’s clearly shown in the décor, as he’s a retired Veteran.
He also talked about their food, as I’d commented it was a bit heavy on the sausage for our tastes. (My mouth loves sausage but my tummy… not so much, sadly.) He informed us that there are daily specials; Taco’s, Rueben’s, etc., and that everything is organic. Hip Hip Hooray! We shall be returning to try out those specials and will update the review.
Now if they only had a dart board. all would be perfection. *sigh*

Wow. I had no idea this place was so much more than the disgusting sign on the outside! 21 beers on tap AND delicious food! We tried the beer cheese fondue with two soft pretzels (only $ 5) but they also had brauts which the hubby is happy about and can’t wait to try. P. S. They make their own sauces and fondue (total score in my book because I love to cook and hate the common garbage in pubs!)
We walked away with a growler of the Boulder chocolate shake porter and the Mazama Radler. Both were amazing! Not what we normally drink at all as I love IPAs and the hubby does Reds. Need I say that I Cannot wait to go back? We would have stayed and tried more beer and food, but we have a child at home and were not expecting to find this neato place.

Great place to fill a growler. Some other place seem to put every good beer on a premium tap (no growler fills). Not NWLG, they will pour everything on tap. Great website shows what’s on tap currently and they honor veterans. Love that

Great selection of beer. Unlikely little spot. Did not have any food there, but the available food smelled pretty darn good. Will definitely be back.
Side note: I went there around 2:30pm, and by the time 4:00pm rolled around, it was pretty darn busy! That’s a good sign.

This place has 20 taps with many local brews. They just started serving food and it is delicious! We got pretzels with beer cheese fondue which was incredibly tasty and The Butter Bar bratwurst which is like a caprese salad on a brat… it was amazing! My husband loved it and says he is ordering two for himself next time. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the beers are heavy on the IPAs and a little on the pricey side. Brat was delicious but also a little costly, 10.50. The side was tortilla chips and I’d rather see potato salad or something more unique for the price.

Stopped into NLG for the first time, was a great experience, Pete was informative and explained the difference of the craft beer and helpful in choosing flavors that I would like. The atmosphere was pleasant, laid back. Definitely will be going back!

A bit of a dive in a low-​rent strip mall that’s seen better days but the selection is great, the service is friendly, the vibe is a fun place to hang and the prices are good ($ 4 for a pint). They’ve recently expanded their space and are still building it out. Looks like they’ll have a deli up and running soon.

There are few places In town like this place great beer and great service everyone is friendly and inviting they have an outdoor area and soon will be serving food great place to go if u enjoy craft beers

Excellent growler refill station and bottle shop. Super friendly employees. Pat was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel at home in the store. We will come back here next time we’re passing through!

This place gets some stunning beers, especially for the Couv. Pour cost is average to inexpensive, for the most part. I would love to go here more, but the atmosphere is pretty terrible. Great if you sit at the bar and don’t mind a TV at about 100 decibels. Otherwise, your options are a few well broken-​in chairs facing the beer fridges and a summer only patio.
The younger guy is very nice and personable. The older guy is gruff and not exactly helpful with the beers, or at least wasn’t toward me (a girl).
If I remember correctly, the beer is served in plastic cups, which is a big turn-​off for me.
No food, but you can bring food in. No dogs either (It’s legal in WA state for a non food beer bar to choose to allow them) with mixed answers on if they can be on the patio.
I have actually found their growler fill costs pretty low, other than for the expensive hard to get beers. Most fills are $ 12-​$ 15 with stronger beers like stouts and IIPAs being $ 20-​$ 30.
I’m glad that Vantucky has another place pouring great beer, but for me for now, it’s going to be growler pours and bottle pickup. This summer, I’ll give the patio a go and bring my own glass. I actually look forward to it.
