Paper Tiger Coffee Roasters

I have not been in in quite awhile, but these guys have hands down, thee best spiced chai. I wish there were a Paper Tiger in Longview!

The best traditional macchiato I’ve had since leaving Europe! The server was friendly and super helpful in describing the perfect beans. Will definitely return again soon.

A really adorable café in a pretty quiet area. They offer many milk alternatives, which is great. They make all their syrups in house and the espresso is delish. We came here last year around Thanksgiving and then rediscovered it again last weekend. A really solid drink served by incredibly nice people! Will be back for sure!

For my first time I just picked up a basic chai latte, but it was really good for the spice having been made in-​house. It was full so there was noise, but it was quiet enough that I could not only hear myself think, I could also hear the roasting coffee beans in the back of the room. I will definitely be coming back!

In town from Olympia, visiting my uncle. Looking for a coffee shop to do some computer work from I found the coffee shop via Google Search on my phone. I had to walk a mile, but it was a pleasant walk. Upon entering the small coffee shop I found just one customer at the register and one person, (I later found out it was «Kenny») working behind the counter. He quickly helped her and took my order.
He started making the drink right away. I usually dislike this because then I have to stand and wait to pay — after I have already done that. I came here because it had wi-​fi and I wanted to work from my computer. So I asked if I could sit down and he said of course, «I’ll start you a tab». Great response!
He quickly made my drink and brought it to me and even brought some extra in a chilled container he used to shake the iced mocha. This meant a lot to me.
Again, I am impressed with the small community feel and notice that many of the customers know each other and have friendly dispositions.
As I sat down and set up my computer, immediately several more people came in behind me. I was very impressed with how quickly they were served.
After those people were helped I realized that I may have made a mistake when I ordered my coffee. I asked if we could fix it and Kenny quickly complied. I was very impressed.
Definitely a great experience beginning to end.

Great local spot which has clearly been discovered by others. If I have a nice day off I typically make it over, a very «no frills» type of place — unpretentiousness at its best.
Good to great coffee — I know this area is a bit snobbish about coffee but their home roasted coffee is tasty and expertly made.
Local crafts — there’s a small but nice collection of gifts and crafts if you’re into that sort of stuff. The little fudge is expensive but freakin delicious!
Ambience — small place but never too crowded.

I don’t drink much coffee but I’ve been in here to meet with someone for tutoring sessions. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. It was calm and quiet for working too. The prices are pretty standard considering you pay a little more for quality (compared to a Dunkin Donuts type place). But it definitely beats chains like Starbucks.
I’ve read reviews in regards to the workers but I’ve only had good interactions. Usually I give a place I don’t frequent an average rating but I truly respect how the owner/​manager is active on Unilocal and responds to reviews. This is a big deal. He actually cares, which is why I’d go back if I ever started drinking more coffee.
One of my last reviews of another café pointed out how I emailed an owner about a bad experience. I was very respectful in my tone, yet I still got no response. Thank you Kenny F. for being proactive in taking care of Paper Tiger!

Favorite place for coffee in Vancouver. I’m not really into fancy coffee drinks so I’ve only tried their plain house roasts with cream and their chai latte… Both of which are the best in town.
The staff has never been anything less than friendly.
If you are planning to drink your coffee there it can get pretty crowded. The shop is small and there isn’t a lot of seating. I used to come here for work staff meetings but we had to move locations because it was always difficult to find enough seating for 5.
Overall, great neighborhood coffee shop.

I didn’t spend a lot of time in here, because I just wanted to pick up a quick coffee, but quick doesn’t seem to be their motto. That is okay with me though, as long as there is at least quality.
They have 4(?) sauces that they make in house, including caramel. I chose to add caramel to my americano of course.
I wasn’t against anything about this place or coffee, but I wasn’t too impressed either. I shall remain impartial and give it the «A-​OK» rating (3 starts).
It did take me forever to maneuver the parking lot to find a place I was allowed to park, however.
Might be back, might not. I’m so in between on this review that I have to come back to experience the whole thing and re-​rate I suppose?

Easy to find location, close to my house and the coffee is LOVELY.
I personally go for the Chati and get it ground to suit my needs. Sometimes for my french press but usually for my Keurig. Wonderful flavor and finish. I’m really happy when I can find a roast that I enjoy without any cream or sugar. That to me is what good coffee is. sorta like whiskey or a good steak.
The prices are good for what you get. A nice quality coffee, roasted on site and a helpful staff plus a cozy location if you want to grab a cup there.
The fun artwork on the wall is a bonus.
