Seven Seas Scuba

All the staff at Seven Seas are very helpful and courteous. The shop is well stocked with a variety of brands and styles to cater to a wide range of divers. Any time I have needed assistance or had questions on gear, I got my answer quick and by people that know the business! And, everyone there including their customer base are all ACTIVE divers!

What a great shop! I have been to multiple scuba shops and by far is this one the best. I went in to find information on new gear and some classes. Was pleasantly surprised by the inventory and the great customer service. Looking forward to buying from here and diving alongside them!

This shop is really a breath of fresh air! I am new at scuba and I had been dealing with another shop in Beaverton, Oregon and just got treated very badly by staff there. At Seven Seas Scuba they handled my requests with cheer and never charged me for using different brands of gear during my open water weekend with them… They never tried to sell me something I didn’t need… Nicole is associated with the shop and lent me her personal scuba mask for open water weekend… I just felt very pampered and valued as a customer and as a student in thier certification class… I highly recommend this shop.

I found a coupon on Buy With Me for the Discover Scuba experience and thought it was a good idea to try it out without having to commit to getting my license or coughing up 300 bucks. More scuba diving schools should do this.
We met at the Alcyone Apartments. There’s plenty of street parking at 8 am on a Saturday. Be careful, as the addresses on Minor Ave are screwed up.
After introducing ourselves and watching a video, we headed over to the Tukwila pool where we changed and got to practice what we learned from the video. It was nice having the entire pool to ourselves, so we could explore more freely without bumping into other people.
Richard and his team are very helpful and encouraging. I stayed mostly by the shallow end of the pool, as going 12 feet under water hurts my ears, kind of like being on a bad plane ride.
I’m still deciding whether or not to take the open water course. If I do, I would have to constantly remind myself to relax, not to hold my breath, and just enjoy the swim.
