Loved all we have tried here! BLTA, grilled cheese, Nutella waffle, biscuits and gravy. Coffee was excellent black. Cupcakes, cookies and pastries were fresh and excellent. Customer service was friendly and helpful. We will continue to come back and try everything!

Pleasantly surprised by this place :) drive by it on my way to work and finally was able to stop in for an early lunch. Had the breakfast panini and a marrionberry bar. Both very good and flavorful. Only gripe was that I Wish the marrionberry bar had more fruit in it. Def will be back for sure :) decent little spot in the couv

The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic! I stop here a few times a month on my way to work and I’m never disappointed. Everything is hand made and fresh, just like you’d expect. It’s definitely worth stopping in

Another one of my Vancouver favorites! I’ve only been there for lunch because it’s all the way across town from where I live but I’m glad I at least make it there for lunch. The atmosphere is fun and bright which makes it a perfect breakfast/lunch spot. I’ve had their Lemon Basil Chicken Salad sandwich and their Southwestern Turkey sandwich. Both which were very very delicious. If you have a sweet tooth they have a whole case of desserts as well as their Lemon Lavender Lemonade. This place is a definite go-to when you don’t want chain restaurant or the hustle and bustle of Portland

My mom, daughter, and I stopped in for lunch one day. The menu is amazing! We got the house club in a spinach wrap, a mozzarella spinach and tomato on house ciabatta, split pea soup, and two cookies and split everything! It was all delicious and well made. Order at the counter, take a seat and wait for your food but don’t wait too long bc we got our food fairly quickly… We were in around 1:45 on a Monday. Don’t forget to bus your table– it’s easy! Great prices($ 4-$ 8 for non snack items depending on what you’re getting). Huge cookies and sandwiches. I will be back for breakfast, lunch, and snacks again soon!!!

I love the ambience of this place. It’s like going to a friends house to hang and chow down. The food is fresh and made to your liking and you can make any sandwich into a salad. All the two times I’ve been here service and hospitality has been excellent. Parking is adequate and free which is a huge plus.

First off, the waffle was delicious. Second off, I don’t care how delicious a plain Belgian waffle is, it shouldn’t cost $ 7. That, plus coffee, an extra $ 1 for real maple syrup(I don’t mind paying extra for that) and tip brought my breakfast to nearly $ 13. That would be fine if it weren’t for the fact that the meal consisted of one item — a WAFFLE.

Had a great wheat free brownie. It was delicious. Am hoping to make it back to try their breakfasts before I move back east in a month.

Great little breakfast spot! I’ve been once and plan to go here many more times. I tried their biscuits & gravy as well as their maple bacon waffle because those were the most recommended, and I was not disappointed! Their coffee was also quite exceptional. I will definitely bring my friends here and try more of the menu!

What a wonderful place. We ate the biscuits and gravy, the maple bacon pancake, and a delicious bacon cheese baked good. The portions were perfect, the food was delicious, the people behind the counter lovely. Great experience. Excellent cup of coffee for me and good cup of chain for the hubby. Loved it and can’t wait to go back.

This little café has consistently great food and friendly service, and is a favorite on my office’s lunch circuit. The maple bacon waffle and biscuit & gravy are two superb breakfasts, but the scones are great too.

I’m really glad I stopped by here with my daughter for a quick bite. We ended up getting the breakfasts panini with bacon. It was made fresh to order. Very delicious. Loved it. Also we got the lavender lemonade. We were greeted with a smile and the service is awesome. Will come back!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of eating the New Maple Bacon Waffle you should hurry down and give it a try. You will not be disappointed with it!!! Actually I have to admit I’ve tried all of the waffle combinations and I have not been disappointed.

Sooo good! I had a breakfast planned with friends and ended up needing seating for 12(which ended up being 17 instead). I called that morning and asked if there was seating and was told they’d put tables together to seat us. We took over the whole place, and the employees were very gracious and thankful for the group rather than annoyed at how loud and big we were :). Everyone loved what they got!!! We had a wide variety, waffles, paninis, biscuits and gravy, scones, french toast… it was all delicious! Took my family back two days later and can’t wait to go again!

Very cute atmosphere. Homey and inviting, little crammed though. I had the chicken salad sandwich special. It was great! I usually don’t like ciabatta bread for a sandwich — usually they’re too tough — but Sugar & Salt’s was perfect! Food tastes exceptionally fresh, and well made. Next time I’ll have to try their lavender lemonade. I definitely recommend you try it out.

Not sure what the one star lady is talking about but the portions are really large and its counter service so there’s no servers. The workers are always super friendly and will even pass out samples of something freshly made. The food is always great(breakfast AND lunch) and the club sandwich is the best sandwich in Vancouver if you ask me. Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood!
