This place is ok but could really use an update. The last few times I went, my food wasn’t that great. I used to love this place. I was here a couple months ago and my food arrived barely warm. It looked hot but wasn’t cooked all the way through. It’s prevented me from returning or recommending it.

Waited 20 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us let alone ask for our drink order. The upside the Gorgonzola dip is phenomenal!!! Oh and the fresh bread!

Spagetti itself wasn’t that special, I’ve had better elsewhere. The meatballs were pretty good, so that was a plus. Took a while to get seated, and it a bit longer than most places I’ve been to get your food. For a place that is pretty much pasta only, it shouldn’t be that long. I’ll give another star and a half based on the server, Dustin. He really liked my Star Wars shirt I was wearing and we struck up a nice little conversation. He was fast and made sure my water glass was always full. Hell, this guy even put a little paper umbrella for the fun of it. Ask him about his juggling trick that he does, its fantastic! Give this guy a raise and an extra big tip after your meal!

I’ve been dining at Ol’ Spaghett for nearly 20 years and this place never disappoints. The creamy pesto is the best salad dressing ever. The service is consistently really fast and professional. I’ve heard some people say they think it’s expensive, but I order the spaghetti and meatballs in rich meat sauce with a side of mizithra cheese plus a Coke. And after a 20% tip it comes out to be only $ 20. Well worth it. If you aren’t too full you can try to handle some free spumoni ice cream as well.

Wish I could write a review about the food, however after we were seated we were not acknowledged by anyone working in the restaurant. We waited around 15 minutes but eventually we stood up and walked out. First experience here was definitely not a good one.

This is one of the better locations of this chain. Live the very affordable dinner for the family. Meatballs are pretty good, I get them as a side to whatever dish I order. Mazithra cheese and butter is my favorite

Have eaten here often, we like it. The servers we’ve had, are all very well trained, courteous, and professional. Especially Aaron. The food is consistent, the salad cold, prices are reasonable, and the sourdough bread is great. Our daughter loves to eat in the trolley and get the italian crème soda drinks. It’s a good place for us to go, when were at dinner hour wondering where we should eat. It’s not out of this world Italian food, but it’s pretty good.

OK this is another highly subjective review. I give this a 3.5 but Unilocal sticks to «whole stars». The food here is 3 stars, its good for what you pay. What is amazing about Spaghetti Factory is the amount of classy upscale ambiance you get in a restaurant with a $$ menu. If I blindfolded a stranger and lead them inside they might think they were about to dine $$$ or $$$$. Alas no such thing will happen here. Your wallet will be delighted, your senses happy, but your tummy will give you a «meh». Generally the staff here is good. Great for kids, mine are all grown up now but I came here allot when they were little. The location for this restaurant is suburban strip mall-ish they have another location in Portland that is on the Willamette River and is the better choice between the two.

We were very disappointed in the service here. Our server Shandra got my order wrong, and told me that was what I ordered… I have never in my life ordered Spaghetti with butter and cheese, she was then sarcastic and told me she would take it back, but we had children with us and I was not about to make everyone wait. Our empty plates were not cleared, so when dessert came there wasn’t anywhere to put it. we were finally brought containers to pack up our food, but then asked two different servers for a bag to put them in, waited 10 minutes more then finally went to get a bag ourselves. Don’t think we will be returning.

Have not even gotten drinks yet. But Aaron is the bombest server out there. Saw other reviews about him, and magically got him as a server today. Made the entire experience worthwhile.

Went here for dinner for the first time this week. My few issues: it is a chain restaurant which we did not realize, the food is tasty but not great, drink menu is very limited and there isn’t a whole lot of menu options. Pluses are it is fairly inexpensive for a 3 course meal, apps and desert are included in the entrée price, but cocktails and beer are pretty pricey. Service was excellent. Wouldn’t be my first choice for Italian food, but not bad.

The highlight of our very exhausting weekend road trip was our server Aaron at the Vancouver WAOSF. Our 2 teenage girls were a bit goofy, and he took it all in stride. Good food, good service. You can’t go wrong with Old Spaghetti Factory. We came on a Saturday early evening and only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated, which was excellent since we were so hungry. And the warm bread with butter was just what we needed. All the meals come with either soup or salad and ice cream at the end.

Nothing overly exceptional. It is a chain establishment. The food is good and consistent. Last time I went our waiter, Aaron, was quite humors and it did make the whole experience more enjoyable. As fare as portion sizes go, it is not as much as you would get at another pasta eatery by another name. The menu is far more limited than other more familiar Italian style restaurants that we may be more used to. The prices are average for a sit down pasta joint. I will say I do enjoy their mizithra cheese. Other than that, there is nothing that draws me more to OSF than the other unmentioned popular itallian eatery. So if I am not the one paying, I will gladly go here, but it is not my first choice. That is not because the food is bad; it is just because I prefer other places more.

No longer open for lunch on weekdays? Food is average. Servers generally attentive and a family of four could dine and be out in about an hour. The fresh sourdough bread is a plus and portions adequate.

I have a very large Italian family, and most of us are in the service industry. We had a large group of about 15 people and came without a reservation. Dustin was our server and was an absolute delight. He handled our whole party by himself and was quick and knowledgeable. Dustin is an asset to the team at this particular Spaghetti Factory and we will be back! Shelly Bradley

I had never been to an Old Spaghetti Factory before and decided to try it. The first thing I noticed was that there were an awful lot of large groups and families dining there. This could be nice or annoying depending on what you are looking for. Needless to say, it was noisy. I started with the minestrone soup which was awful. I didn’t bother finishing it and instead turned to the unlimited sourdough bread which I did enjoy. My husband’s Fettuccine Alfredo was super dry and rubbery, a far cry from what The Olive Garden offers. I was luckier with my dish: Crab and Ricotta Ravioli with Pesto Cream Sauce. I’m not going to lie, it was pretty darn good and I was surprised. The ricotta and crab in the ravioli were both flavorful and the pesto cream sauce tied it all together nicely. It is a nice touch that they serve you a scoop of ice cream after your meal but, sadly, it is not that great of ice cream. Our waitress was a disappointment that night. We never got a refill on our drinks even though she kept saying she hadn’t forgotten about us. Finally, when we were done we noticed a manager walking around asking tables how their food was, but of course he didn’t come to ours even though he saw us. Well, not the first time anyways. His second time around he offered to get us more drinks and apologized profusely. If we want Italian chain food we’ll stick with Olive Garden. They do everything better except the bread. The Old Spaghetti Factory might be a better place to go if you do have a large group due to the greater space and cheaper prices.

We were looking for a place we’d never been and were in the mood for Italian food so we gave this place a whirl. The décor was very pleasant with several old black and white pictures hanging on the gold walls and stained glass windows offering a pretty alternative to regular glass. There was also a large seating area in the shape of a trolley, which we found charming. Unfortunately, the décor is pretty much the only thing this place has going for it. We started with an order of cheesy bread, which was on the dry side but fairly tasty then I ordered the meat trio with spaghetti, meatballs and italian sausage. The meatballs were very good, the sausage was ok but the meat sauce had plenty of salt, but very little else in the flavor department. The hubby had the chicken alfredo and it was pretty bland as well. Our kids had the spaghetti, the tortellini with alfredo, and the ravioli(plain with butter) The tortellini was decent and our daughter devoured the ravioli. For the amount we spent, I would have expected a bit more food and better quality. I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Six months ago I joined the ranks of the gluten free, not because I have to, I’m trying an experiment and so far I am enjoying the results. This change in lifestyle comes at a price, having to leave some of my favorite dishes and restaurants in the dust. As with many things in life, when one door closes another opens and you learn about new things. Such is the case with The Old Spaghetti Factory. Sure, I’ve been here before, happily slurping down pasta and bread, but now I have to be more careful and their gluten free menu is a big help. Most of the regular menu items that feature pasta are available with gluten free pasta and they point out any item that is made with gluten. They even hold the croutons in salads. The quality of the meal does not suffer with the non-traditional pasta either. Servers are happy to make the substitutions too. It’s nice to find a place that does not penalize you for having different dietary needs.
