This is an excellent place for vegetable starts, seed potatoes and all your starting-out-for-the-year gardening whatnot. Got yer starter chickens right here. A great selection of chows for farm animals, birds and even your guinea pig. They also sell bales of hay and straw. Everyone that works here has always been great to deal with. It’s really nice to have a place like this so conveniently located*. * In my world, conveniently located means you are close to Donut Nook.

Great store with so much more than you’d expect from the outside. The staff seems to know a lot about everything garden and animal related. They’ve got a lot of knowledge regarding vegetable gardening in particular. I definitely recommend stopping by.

I go out of my way to go to to Thrifty Feed! They are friendly and cost effective and I can get all my organic feed needs met there! Thanks Thrifty Feed!

A small feed store that we drove by several times before realizing it was there. However, once we found it, we have been back over and over again. We head here for just about anything pet and garden related. We picked up our seed potatoes, onions and starter plants last spring and they were awesome! They carry different types of bulk feed(including guinea pig). Compost, straw, hay… pretty much anything you would expect to find at a feed store and more. Everyone there is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciate the way they make you feel welcome the second you walk in. They also carry chicks and chicken-related equipment for you future urban chicken farmers. And, if you don’t know what you’re doing, they can certainly point you in the right direction.
