We just picked our Lab up from the Wilco groomers and they did a fabulous job(Sarah)!! We’ve tried other places in town and this has been by far the best experience. Scheduling was easy, they called our vet to confirm vaccine status, and it wasn’t crowded and stressful like other groomers we have been to. They were very efficient and on time start to finish(1.5hours). The staff was very friendly both in the groomers station and at the register for check out. I will also say she smells so much better after her grooming session at Wilco than she has at other places. Not sure what they use but whatever it is it got rid of the funky lab smell, even her ears smell good! Pricing was also excellent $ 30 for the whole thing. Highly recommend!

We were so excited to visit the new Wilco store here in Vancouver that we could hardly wait to get there. We did have to wait however until the first week of September. Plenty of time for them to get their front of house, floor staff, cashiers ready to meet us, greet us and take our money. Unfortunately no one was very welcoming at this store. We have shopped for years at the Battle Ground location and have been very pleased with the environment there. In fact it’s been worth it for us to drive to Battle Ground for supplies that only Wilco has sometimes. Even though the Unilocal description has this place listed as a «farmers market» it is indeed, not that. It is a farm and ranch supply store with what appears to be an Ace Hardware section contained within it. Market economics must’ve told the corporation that this area was right for this type of store. It seems to offer less of the farm and ranch equipment than the outlying stores do. This location must be catering to the newer McMansions expected to spring up in the burgeoning East County area of Clark County here in Southwest Washington. Either way, receipts for sales are better than empty storefronts sitting around in the county. For that we are thankful to Wilco. But back to our excitement. I had several ideas about what I needed to get at Wilco and was happy to shop around. We looked at the whole store. We got absolutely no help from the women in the apparel department. In fact they almost actively ignored us. Tending instead to their stock, inventory, and questioning each other about how those things should go. Seems to me that if you had front of house help they should concentrate on serving the customers needs. Upsells. Getting a right fit. Building store loyalty. None of that occurred. In fact it was so offputting that I actually had to break into a conversation that the staff were having with each other in order to find if they stocked some of the things I was interested in buying. One guy, one guy in the hardware department was smiling and helpful. He’s a really tall man and he was certainly pleasant. I had no hardware needs but was happy to be greeted on the floor at least. (Now I know that Orchards Feedmill is also an Ace Hardware. It’ll be worth the drive over there to have their friendly staff help me with my hardware needs.) We wrapped up our tour of this new store with a trip past the cashiers and out the door. We had a coupon from a mailer that was directed to our neighborhood and we were pretty excited to use it. Unfortunately, I did not look very closely at the expiry date but was rapidly informed by the cashier there that it had expired. In fact she said«You can’t use this. It expired yesterday.» When a store is this new and the loyalty not yet built it seems that management could try something like«We can offer you a lesser discount but we can’t honor that coupon.» Or «We’d like you to come back here’s a coupon to use in the future.» Something that. But hey, I’m not here to give away consulting information for free to a giant corporation like Wilco. So it this point it’ll take more than mere tack and hardware excitement and the prospect of baby chicks under heat lamps to get me interested in having a Wilco experience in Vancouver, Washington again. Welcome to Wilco. Not.

Great store! Very clean and great customer service! They have some great deals and sales going on that actually made me want to visit in the first place. Prices are very comparable to home depot but slightly cheaper. This store has a little bit of everything from baby chicks to automotive supplies. The garden greenhouse is slightly small but not a bad selection! Power tools are average priced. Clothing has a decent selection with plenty of jeans and shoes! Great addition to Vancouver!
