Fun times. I don’t know why it took us so long to hear about this place, it’s practically next door to the comic book store, but I guess we thought the place was just a computer repair store. First off I should say that I don’t play games, not computer ones, well, except for Catan, but other than that, I just don’t. I never liked Pac Man, Pole Position or Donkey kong when they came out(yeah, I’m really that old) and couldn’t see why anyone else did. My hubby and son do, they love games and usually spend a couple of hours a week fighting zombies, clones and other baddies. I like kdramas, baking and reading. But when we committed to spending part of the day there it was with the understanding that I would play a game, that this would be a family day, ughh. I thought it would be a real waste of money(for me, not the guys) and figured that I’d pay for one hour and then find an excuse to duck out and head over to the comics store for some browsing. Boy, was I wrong. We played Mortal Kombat for two hours. The two hours passed in moments. I wasn’t very good at it, but it was super fun. Maybe it was the bigger screen and the comfortable chair, but I was glued to the game hacking, punching and kicking. The store is air conditioned making it a nice escape in the summer. They serve coffee, lattes and mochas and have a small, but okay selection of sodas and candy, in case you game so hard you need an energy boost. The price is pretty good, about the same price we spend when we go to see a movie, but with the added bonus of more interaction.

Pretty cool video game setup and a nice selection of sodas.
