Archway Skydiving Centre

So, I jumped out of a plane a few days ago. No big deal.
Seriously, though… me and a friend went skydiving for the first time, and it was AMAAAAZING!
I’ve heard nothing but good things about Archway, so I knew that’s where I wanted to do my first jump.
They’re located in Vandalia, IL, which is about an hour out of St. Louis. The drive wasn’t too bad, and Archway’s website offers detailed directions (which is GREAT since I get lost so easily!)
We arrived at our appointment time of 2:30, but weather issues kept us from jumping until around 5pm. They gave us the option of rescheduling, but we decided to stick it out! We didn’t drive that far just to be turned around!
Safety is a HUGE priority at Archway. They had us watch a video on safety, and went over every single little detail with us. It made me feel really secure.
The instructor that I tandem jumped with had 17+ years of skydiving experience and made me feel very at ease.
The jump was AMAZING, like I said before. I can’t even describe it in words, so I won’t try to.
If you’ve never been skydiving before, DO IT. And go to Archway. I can’t recommend them enough!
