Came to this place for an event we were attending several months ago, had booked two rooms, one of our rooms locks was frozen shut and we were unable to get into room. So know you have four adults late at night sitting in a one bed king waiting for management which was one person and he was also maintenance, figure out how to fix and didn’t think they could do until next day and claimed even though empty parking lot at 12:00 am no other rooms. And gave us no idea of how long we were going to have them locked out of room and none of us could sleep. The maintenance or desk clerk did try and come up and fix after almost two hours of waiting, he was unsuccessful and never let us know he was out there and we look out to see someone in a hoody trying to get into the room that was locked still. He was so unprofessional and we were like what’s the plan and he didn’t know and said after he rolled up his electric cord he was trying to blow dry the lock he would think about it. Mind you earlier in the day we had brought card down three times and got three different cards and told him it keeps happening and before we left for our event we again told him it just happened again making us all almost late. And could he please have someone look at them. So know we sit at 2:00 am and the maintenance /desk person no longer is answering his phone we couldn’t even leave because our family in other rooms belongings and computers were in there. We ended reaching the management(who we found out was in a room on the premises) came down and preceded to start yelling at us for interrupting her sleep and put her finger in my face ! I had to go in the room because I couldn’t believe this. She had no idea what had been going on all day but we interrupted her sleep and she didn’t appreciate it !! Really we haven’t had any sleep we didn’t appreciate it either. I preceded to start packing and told her we would be calling someone to get our belongings, that she can’t force us to stay there, we needed our things to leave the hotel. This was crazy town !! Our first hotel was very pleasant but they had plumbing leak and no other room to put us in so sent us here .eek. We weren’t over expecting anything ! The young man at desk did try but a one man show day and night he was kind of stuck. He finally at 3:30 am got us into the room, we packed up both rooms and left and drove up the road to get another place. And by the way they charged us for both rooms for the night.

This is a super duper clean Hotel with a reasonable rates. The bed was comfortable for a hotel bed The breakfast room: is retro and really cute. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stop here again as this is an extremely well kept property.

Clean newly remodeled room, comfy bed. In room coffee. Our room even had a fridge and microwave. VERY reasonable rates and convenient to the x way and restaurants. Definitely will stay here when my travels bring me this way. Hot breakfast included Not all rooms are remodeled as of yet per friendly desk staff but are working on them!

Worst snowstorm in 30 years and I was in the middle of IL, on my way from IN to CA with my family… took a chance on this place, and it payed off! Great service, breakfast, and the kids enjoyed watching the staff bobcat the snow away! Great place to stay and cheap! They even give your money back for the pet deposit when you leave!
