Take your Thanksgiving leftovers and for shits and giggles add a ton of cheese and some bacon between 2 slices of bread and you have one hell of a sandwich. Way to go Byrncliff. Been eating here for 20 years and this place never disappoints. Great brunch. Awesome fish frys and ya gotta try this sandwich.

This is my review on the Byrncliff BRUNCHES! They are FABULOUS! Best we’ve tried in the area! The week after Easter is my favorite. They do the«Polish Brunch» for first Sunday after Dyngus Day. They hand roll their pierogis… just like my grandmother made! The gwumpki, sausages, kluski noodles and everything is GREAT! My non Polish spouse even loves it. This is in addition to their regular brunch fare… made to order omelets, all the sides, salad bar and DESSERTS! They even bring you juice pitchers at no extra charge. How many brunch places do that? All this while you are surrounded by the most GORGEOUS scenery… in any season! The regular Sunday brunches are a smaller affair, but still very good and inclusive. The special holidays are scaled way up and you may need a reservation for those. Santa comes to the Christmas one. And he is the most patient Santa ever. It’s also a wonderful, scenic drive from Buffalo, so you just can’t lose. We actually just happened upon this place(saw their electric sign out front) on a country drive one day and have been HOOKED ever since!

I had a great time this weekend cross-country skiing at Byrncliff. I had known about this place for a while, but hadn’t made the trip out from Rochester until now. Even though it is a drive from Rochester, it is relatively easy to get to. I enjoyed the drive down Rt. 77 into the valley. It was quite picturesque. I arrived early to make the most of the day, and I brought my own ski equipment. The cost for a day pass was $ 12, and I was out for about 4hours. If I had better planned for this trip I would have worked it differently so I could ski, eat an early dinner, and then go out to ski again on their lighted trails. If the season holds out a little longer, I may try to get out there again and ski at night. Most importantly in this whole review — the skiing. It was great. Well groomed trails at a variety of skill levels! I even dared the most difficult Powerline trail and had a blast as the wind washed over my face. I’m not very good at downhill skiing, so this level of difficulty was perfect. By the time I left around 3:00, the place was starting to get crowded. I am glad I got there early and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting with fewer skiers on the trails. I’m looking forward to my next trip out there!
