Well, Vashon Island finally has its own medical marijuana dispensary. It is about time. We have so many sick folks who need to go overtown for medicine and there just isn’t any reason for it. Now folks have a place to come for not only medicine but local medicine as well. Unlike so many Seattle dispensaries that bring in Cali flowers up to satisfy demand, everything I saw on opening day at Island Cure was local.
Since it was opening day, the owner himself was bud tending. I decided on an exceptional house strain called «JP» that is an Obama strain derivative for $ 16/​gram.
I’ll be back for sure, of course. I look forward to seeing them expand the selection. There was one tincture and one shatter. I know that Vashon produces a substantial amount of medicine for the Seattle market. I look forward to seeing even more of it at Island Cure Collective.
