My dog loves Tammy! Usually we are just at Pampered Paws for a toenail trim (at $ 5.00, with no appointment necessary: a great bargain) and not full-​on bathing and grooming. My dog comes in very nervous and apprehensive. Tammy kneels next to her and cajoles her into cooperation, offering her treats and joking with her. By the end, my dog wants to follow her into the back room and just live there! I really appreciate her knowing my dog and making it a fun experience. She is good at what she does and has never hurt a nail on my dog’s feet. Clearly, she enjoys dogs, and mine adores her. I’ve visited other grooming spots; pampered Paws is the island’s best.

You MUST tell this lady EXACTLY what you want. Or else she’ll just do whatever she pleases. My dog has A beautiful big coat. He is a large breed. And I’m not even sure if it will even grow back. He has an under coat and a over coat. He is build to shed for summer, we just wanted a trim on his legs and shampoo. I don’t know what happened, but he came back really freaked out and his hair is way too short. I really think he is self conscious. Poor guy.
Anyways, unless you want a summer buzz, just do it yourself. Save a trip to the village.
I will say his paws are very nice and groomed.
