Although I’m not a fan of camping, I have visited Wesleyan Woods many times. Great family friendly atmosphere. Lots of trees create nice shade and private camping sites. Lots of things for kids to do including a small beach area, catch and release fishing, canoeing, zip line, ropes course, climbing wall. I’m sure there are other things I’m forgetting. For a small campground they have a wonderful 4th of July firework display on the Friday closest to the 4th of July.
Located not to far from Birch Run and Frankenmuth in case you want a break from outdoor camping activities

What a wonderful place to bring the family! It accommodates all sizes of trailers or tent. 80% grass with nice size lots.
The Cass river runs right next to it. If you want to take a lazy cruise down the river you can. There is a park near by that you can put your flouties in that is 10 minutes from the campground. It will take 2 ½ hours to get back. The ending is at camp.
Fun playground, a pond with a nice little beach, that is roped off. Catch and release fishing. Well marked footpaths. And a lot more.
