If you’re hesitant about trying out a new hairdresser… get over it and just commit. You won’t be disappointed! Being a type A personality I’m very particular about my tresses, and not the easiest of clients. Chris puts my mind at ease, and does a killer job.
A HUGE plus for me is the ambiance of his studio. He’s rad, listens to great music, and sculpts amazing hair… Basically everything I need in a hairdresser and friend!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have my hair cut by Chris. Just WOW! I recently moved to LA from SF and was looking for a skilled stylist. Thankfully someone referred me to Chris and he gave me an amazing cut. My standards are high so this review really means a lot. I’ve seen him 2 times since being here and without hesitation will be going back again and again. Furthermore, his attention to detail is unparalleled to many of my previous stylists and not to mention he’s VERY cool and welcoming.

Best haircuts, by far! I’ve paid ridiculous amounts in Beverly Hills salons and not had anyone take the time and care to cut my hair like Chris does. Both my husband and I get our cuts from him, and he’s excellent at keeping us entertained!

Chris does an amazing job. He’s very professional, welcoming, detailed oriented, passionate in his craft, and as an added bonus, is a great conversationalist. The type of dude I’d have a beer with any day of the week.
I’m very particular with how I like my cuts and it’s taken me about 4 years to finally find one in LA that I’ve really liked. Well, this is the one! Also helps that I live within walking distance from the guy. 5 stars across the board.

There is no better haircut in Los Angeles, nor better experience, than Chris Wolfe. He’s careful, precise, listens to what you’re looking for, has a great eye and is by far the best trim you can get. Not to mention — he’s the man, has great music going, and the vibe is always a ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Have been a repeat customer for the past 4 months and will never look back.

Just a fantastic experience — Chris is a great guy and, more importantly in terms of this review, great at cutting hair. He makes you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive, and is an excellent listener to really understand what you are looking to have done. Great attention to detail (so crucial with a dry cut) and technique in execution. In short, I’ve found my LA haircut spot.

Whoever said there are not shortcuts to nirvana has never experienced the transcendence of master drycutter Chris Wolfe! Was referred by my roommate who was referred by a friend and I have to say that the referral chain feels more like a pay it forward act of haircut effervescence! Have since referred a coworker who is also obsessed and completely in awe of Chris’ talent and attention to detail. His work is beautiful and keeps you coming back for specialty factor of creativity and consideration with each visit!

There are many places and people to go to if you «just want a haircut». If you actually care about whether the hairstyle you are wearing suits you or, better yet, accurately represents how you want to be seen by the world, you go to Chris Wolfe. He has been styling my hair for about a year and every time I sit in his chair, he creates magic. When I first came to him, I had a cut that another stylist had butchered. He took the time to talk to me and really understand what I wanted to achieve with my hair and being a new customer, he wasn’t too aggressive in our first meeting. He made some good adjustments to help rectify the situation, but also to build trust and credibility with me. After that, I quickly learned that I could trust him enough to give him artistic license with sculpting my hair. Every time I see him, I know i’m going to leave with a style that is dynamic, fun and represents me. I should also mention that I have a pretty challenging hair texture that is both kinky and fine, so I his skills are tested when I come for keratin treatments and cuts. I consistently receive compliments on my haircut regardless of whether I’m wearing it straight or curly. This man is a master at what he does!

I’ve had a few decent hair cuts before Chris, a lot of mediocre cuts and one really bad one while living in LA. I had not found THE stylist that gave THE cut that really WOW’d me until I came across Chris. His technique is so different than I had seen before and his attention to detail (by detail I mean every. single. hair.) is superb. I have long, thick hair with a bit of a wave — I’m a girl that prefers to wash, throw a dab of product in it and head out the door. Chris sculpts my hair while it is DRY and the end product is a style completely tailored to the texture, length and way my hair naturally lays. It’s amazing. I have had more compliments about my hair looking good now than ever and I don’t even have to try. So appreciative of this man and his skills.

Chris is a very talented hair stylist with a special eye (as he directly sees what cut would fit you) and a special ear (as he listens a lot to his clients’ needs).
He gave my hair a lot of natural movement and beautiful waves. I love it!
