Conroy’s Florist

I wish there was an option where I could give this florist zero stars.
Yesterday was valentines day. My BF ordered flowers for me from Conroys. He placed his order at 1 pm and at 10pm, i had still not received my flowers. My BF and I both, called the florist about 5x throughout the day, asking what was going on and each time, the person on the other line told us that they would «find out whats going on and call back» which they never did. I called them again at 8:30pm, asking what was going on, and this time a rude woman named Gracie picked up the phone. She told me it «wasn’t her problem» but she would «check what was going on» after about 5 minutes of checking god knows what, she told me that someone would call me tomorrow. Frustrated, i demanded my money back. Then while i was expressing my anger, SHE HUNG UP ON ME. i do not care how upset a customer gets, you do not hang up on the customer. omg SO MAD. so i called back, and they did not pick up the phone.
So the next day came (today) and I waited for them to call me. But of course they didn’t. so I called them and spoke to another woman named Camile. She said that there was a problem with a delivery truck and that she would try to track down my flowers. Um, Valentines day was yesterday. I do not want them anymore, nor do i want to pay valentines day flower prices for something I receive the day after! I requested to have my money back and she said she would call me back…
She was also very rude, and when I told her she was rude, she told me it was because i was «yelling» at her. I did not yell, but spoke in a frustrated tone. Who wouldn’t be frustrated with this situation?
She told me she would call me back in two hours because she had to find my paper work. AGAIN, they did not call me back so I had to. When i did, she told me that she had not found my paper work yet… I DO NOT KNOW WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS UNORGANIZED WHERE THEY CANNOT FIND A CUSTOMERS PAPERWORK!
So right now, I am waiting for an hour to go by because thats when she said she would call me back (of course we all know I’m going to have to call her back)
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. MY BF SAID THEY WERE NICE WHEN HE PLACED THE ORDER. BUT AFTER THEY GET YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. HANG UP ON ME? REALLY?
I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. how they get away with business like this puzzles me.

I ordered a bouquet of purple tulips (1 dozen) for my best friend’s graduation. I knew purple tulips aren’t those common flowers that they will have in a florist store (even though Ralphs always have a lot in stock), therefore I walked into the store one week in advance to make sure that they can do something like that.
First visit was smooth, all my requests were fulfilled with yes yes yes we will do it, no problem. blah blah blah.
Second (phone call): 4 days prior my best friend’s graduation, i called to MAKE SURE that they are OK with my order, still YES YES YES from them.
Third (Phone call): 2 days prior: Here is what they said to me, «Yes, no problem, the person (forgot the name) are going to get the flower right now, and yes you can come pick it up and we will have it ready.
PICKUP DAY 6pm: BOO, WE DON’T HAVE PURPLE TULIPS.
Seriously: WTX
I walked in to order, confirmed it twice within a week and here we go, the day before my best friend’s graduation, all I heard was, «SO, WHAT YOU WANT US TO DO NOW, WE DON’T HAVE IT, YEA. SOO… what you want…»
I was like if its just a normal day then I will let you go, but HECK NO if its my best friend’s graduation. YOU GUYS RUINED IT with your bad service and bad response to your mistake.
and Yup, and I will be spreading my words for your bad service.
I guess they were nice when they were trying to take your business but once you are hook, they became… u knw. NASTY.
NEVER n I SAID NEVER ORDER FLOWER FROM HERE FOR IMPORTANT OCCASION. You may do if you just want to do a grab n go but NEVER if you are ordering flowers for people that mean something in your life.

I called for a same day delivery and they were prompt and the flowers looked fantastic, the arrangement made my wife very happy, so I’m very happy!
