I ordered a gift box for my dad on Father’s Day. I had forgotten he was going to be traveling for a while — and contacted the store Sunday morning to let them know they were away; so they could give the box away to someone else, maybe a nursing home or whatever. I just didn’t want it to go to waste. The sweet woman from the store contacted me today(Wednesday) to let me know that she was going to send another box to my dad tomorrow, so he could get his gift. I am so shocked — this was MY fault, not theirs. But the store is going out of their way to ensure all are happy. HIGHLYRECOMMEND Edible Arrangements, but in particular this store on Venice Ave.

I had the most wonderful experience yesterday when my arrangement was delivered by Karen! She so enthusiastic about the arrangement she was delivering and offered great tips on keeping it fresh. Her enthusiasm was contagious and very refreshing! I’ve always wondered just what these arrangements would be like… would they be fresh? I can tell you that this was way above any expectations! The fruit is pretty and delicious and the chocolate on the fruit was divine! I encourage anyone who is in the area to order this — it’s well worth it!

An arrangement was ordered for me by a relative but I was not home when the delivery was attempted. Made arrangements for delivery the following day. When it was delivered the driver told me it was made fresh and not the one from yesterday. Great job and it was delicious as well as beautiful. Kudos to Edible Arrangements of Venice.

I was trying to place an order online on Friday, May 6th for Mother’s Day(May 8th) and the online ordering system had told me that the Port Charlotte FL store(that is apparently owned by the same person as the Venice store) was closed, so I called the store directly. The Mother of the owner explained to me that they were open, but that they had way to many orders and was complaining abut how she was going to have to be there until late that night etc etc,(Nothing you should be telling a customer.) I then asked her what my options were and if they might be offering a discount or at the very least an apology to those customers who weren’t getting to make an order as of now. She very rudely accuse me of just«wanting something for free» and told me that I «should have thought to order my Mother’s Day gift sooner.» I was so appalled at her rude response that I felt I needed to make a complaint about it(which is something I don’t usually do). I have had only good experiences with all Edible Arrangements stores and this has been the first and the WORST. HOWRUDE! I will share this experience on all social networking sites as well so that other PAYING customers will not have the same AWFUL experience.
