Amazing acrylic set! So happy to have found a place in Venice that does a natural looking set of acrylics! Will be back! Acrylic fill is $ 20 for regular polish. They also have gel.

Came here on vacation and had a wonderful experience — the technician was incredibly friendly and did a beautiful job on my mani-​pedi. Wish I lived this far down south for many reasons, but if I come back to Venice for any reason this will def. be my place!

I came to this salon based on the Unilocal reviews and so glad I did. The moment I walked in I was greeted by an attentive, friendly staff. Pedicure was exceptional with hot stones, peppermint lotion, and a wonderful massage.
Nail polish application was perfect.
I don’t usually give reviews, but when deserving I will go out of my way to recommend… and…I highly recommend Glitter and Gloss. Clean, professional, and friendly.

I took my daughter for a mani/​pedi last weekend when we were visiting family in Venice — and our nails still look as perfect as the day we stepped out of the salon (that’s 6 days now and not a chip to be found). The prices are great, the place is clean, the staff is very friendly. They have been open for about a year and I wish them great success. Enjoy!

The highlight of this place is the women who work there. They are lovely! — really nice and did an impeccable job. The salon is clean and well laid out. Prices are right.
The only thing I would have changed is their color selection. They were all OPI — I prefer the Essi colors, which they didn’t seem to have.

I am very concerned about cleanliness at nail spas so I have been very cautious getting a pedi outside of my usual place in Houston. This nail salon was extremely clean. I watched them sterilize their equipment and wash down their foot spas. The owners were lovely people. We will be back

All new and very nice salon! Friendly staff. Super clean and sanitary! They pride themselves on being germ free!!! Tasteful décor with Chrystal chandeliers to brighten the space. Great colors to choose from too!

I came in from out of town and decided to get a bikini wax. They were able to schedule me right away which was the only positive thing about this place. She did a TERRIBLE job. It was so poorly done. I can’t even wear a bikini due to so many stray hairs leftover. She also kept tweezing which I have never had that much tweezing done before when I have gotten a bikini wax. She then used Vaseline on the area which was a terrible idea… I just kept getting more red. Then when I called to complain she argued with me! Unreal! Never again! $ 65 basically in the trash with and irritated red bikini area.

My mother and I had our nails done here on a Sunday. She has acryllics; I had a pedicure and gel manicure. This is a great place to have children’s nails done, but not adult’s.
I was seated at the pedicure station and began soaking my feet in the tub. My nail tech let me sit there for 15 minutes while she tried to get the air conditioner turned on. I actually got out of the chair to try to help so I could get on with my services. During this time, another woman came in and used the restroom. When she came out, she said that she had used up the toilet paper and that they needed to replenish. The woman doing my pedicure told a child who was the daughter of the man doing nails there to put some in the bathroom. She then told me that «his kids aren’t helpful» and don’t do anything but sit. She was right.
My pedicure was very nice; I have no complaints about that.
I then went ot have the gel nails done. At one point in the process, I had to use the restroom and did so. There was still no toilet paper, 45 minutes after the first woman pointed it out. As I was using the restroom, the man doing my nails was knocking on the door. I told him to wait a minute. When I opened it (after having finished my business), he handed me a paper towel to use for toilet paper. Ick. Just, ick.
My question is that if they knew the kid was not helpful, why didn’t they get some TP and put it in there themselves?
HOWEVER! The biggest problem here is that this salon is not client oriented. When I arrived, they were playing what I assume was a Disney Princess song CD; little kid music. The woman asked if I liked it and I said, «No; I feel that it’s for kids. I can take it for about 15 minutes, but would like to hear something else.» She didn’t ever change the music. There were no children in the salon.
Literally, one hour later, when I was having the gel nails done, the man asked if I liked the music. I again said no and also added that 1 hour and ½ of it was enough. No one made an effort to change it. If they weren’t going to change it, why did they ask for input? All I can say is that I could NOT GET OUT OF THERE FAST ENOUGH to get away from children’s princess music. Imagine listening to «Let It Go» for 1.5 hours and you get the idea.
I would not go back here under any circumstances. Annoying music, wasted time while they tried to adjust the temperature, and lack of toilet paper. Also, listening to someone dis another person’s children made me uncomfortable (even though what she said was true). Not an adult situation.

Nails and pedicure today. This establishment is exceptionally clean and the technicians are very friendly. Nick did a great job on my nails and I will definitely be returning.

Mimi and Nick — thank you! Very clean and everything is brand, spanking new. They went above and beyond to make sure my sisters and I felt like queens! Gel for my pedicure, sisters got waxed, and Les got a manicure… all amazing! Highly recommend!
