Stay away from him for cataract surgery. He promises what he can’t deliver. He ruined my eyes. There are many doctors in the southwest Florida area that are SO MUCH BETTER than him.

Dr. Mark Johnson was recommended several years ago after my husband had some issues with his eye and ended up in Venice hospital. We have both been patients of dr Johnson since then and are very satisfied with his treatment and professionalism. Dr Johnson performed cataract surgery on my eyes a couple of years ago. I decided upon the surgery after he thoroughly explained my options. The surgeries were very successful and I have been delighted with the results. I would highly recommend him and his practice

I am reviewing Mark on behalf of my mother, who just had a horrible experience with Dr. Johnson’s attitude on her visit for a retina scan. After the scan, he was quick to inform her that she had cataracts and was trying to coerce her into committing to a surgery immediately. When she was unsure, he was very rude with her. He at one point compared their conversation to a bad date and informed her that he did not like her. I am quite disgusted at this treatment and I think he should apologize to her. DO the right thing Dr. Johnson
