I purposely went to Abbot Kinney to check out Milkmade in person and it did not disappoint!
It is a small boutique store that has relatively small, selectively chosen collection that complements the other pieces in the store. I like the whole vibe of the store & their tasteful collection as you can find good quality basic, classic simple casual pieces here. I also think men’s pieces were better than their women’s pieces.
I did notice that the sales team were pretty absent during your whole shopping experience, but one guy who came into the store as I was about to leave was being friendly & welcoming… whom I assume as the manager or owner? Overall, lovely shop!

There was not an inkling or interest of help from the two «sales staff» who sat at the desk. I have never been treated so rudely and will definitely never return and have told my friends about this horrendous shopping experience.
Unfortunately I had to purchase something with a sizable credit and because of my friend’s shopping expertize we finally found something to buy-​never again.

Familar with the store (online), and finally had time to check-​it out in person the other day. I walked in, the guy at the counter sort of looked up at me, and then looked back down again to whatever he was doing. I thought nothing of it, and worked my way around the store towards the counter. Again he looks up briefly, but doesn’t say hello, smile, or even aknowledge me. I said hello and nothing, complete silence. I left shortly after this and will never go back.
The store has some really nice men’s and women’s clothing, so all they need now is an employee who smiles and aknowledges a potential customer. Not that difficult of a task.

love the clothes here — tastefully chosen designers
simple, casual, detailed everyday clothes but elegant and understated.
prices are about $ 70 for tees, $ 120 for blouses, $ 200+ for dresses and jackets.
not a huge selection for men and women, but everything is perfect for me.

on the street (abbot kinney) where there are sooo many more cool boutiques. it used to be a bookstore, so the floor’s made of wood, and they’ve decorated the place with vintage items. of course, the clothes are cute, sophisticated, and i loved their chiffon shirt. one of the bags were really one of a kind. it was a cool petite boutique store. there were lots of men’s clothes too. loved their bags.
