This is a great non-​profit that helps kids avoid and/​or get out of gangs. I volunteered here almost 18 years ago and it is still one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Helping to get 10 children to realize their potential and go to college rather than enter a gang is something I will never forget. Teaching them how to put together a resume, using acting training to help them improve their communication skills — a priceless character building experience.
