Wow, only one other review? Guess that proves that Rastawear is one of those hidden gems that needs to be revealed! I just happened to come across it during one of my strolls down the Venice boardwalk. Don, the owner, is an expat from Jamaica who is a total sweetheart. He is passionate about his store and Rasta-themed clothing for women. The dresses, skirts and tops are both beautiful and inexpensive, ranging from $ 30 to $ 45 per item. Most of my outfits are of the designer variety — Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, and the like, none of which are available for $ 30 by the way — but none of my high-end outfits have elicited the avalanche of compliments that I get when I wear one of Don’s Rasta dresses. Seriously, what girl doesn’t love getting compliments from strangers on her appearance? True story, a couple of months ago I was walking into a Starbucks and a woman who was walking by commented on how beautiful my dress was. A few minutes later I walked out of the Starbucks with my cup of coffee and the same woman chased after me to ask where I got that dress. I directed her to Rastawear and she was so grateful! If you’re ever on the boardwalk head to the Gingerbread Court and check it out. You won’t regret it — I certainly haven’t! :)

I recently was refereed to this shop by a friend. Don, the owner, is awesome! So sweet and all about the RASTA! Best quality Rasta theme clothing and accessories on the boardwalk. The shop is a little hard to find since it’s tucked in the Gingerbread Court but worth it to find!
