Very cool park. Many primitive style(but short) trails that lead to the waterway. Great nature center, picnic area and places to grill. Park is shaded and really nicely built. Lots of good stuff to play on. Local wildlife is super cool with frequent spotting a of gopher tortoises, and even an iguana or two. Tennis and basketball courts as well and if you are feeling ambitious you can connect with the legacy trail and take quite the bike ride.

Maintained trails Decent wildlife visibility Nicely outfitted playground area This park, a donation from the Casperson family, provides a variety of trails for scrub and swamp perusal. The butterfly garden is a fun addition to the geckos and birds of the area. The(covered) playground is a fun diversion for kids and has some pretty compelling equipment that got my children psyched to run around and try out. There is also a picnic area nearby and some ball and tennis courts closer to the main entrance. A nice diversion spot if you’re in the area.
