Jennifer stayed late on new years eve and even called the manager to get approval for my request for internet pricing.

I just signed up with them and had a great experience. The staff is super helpful and they set my phone up perfectly. I highly recommend them. After a while I had an issue with text and came back in, they fixed it in a jiffy.
These guys and gals rock!

I’ve always dreaded getting new phone. It means dealing with the TMoble store. But this store made it easy. In n out in less than 30min. Thx Venice store! Very helpful.

Chris is fantastic! He switched our plan and walked me through using the new sim card. My phone works perfectly and it was easy and fast. This store has excellent service!

Ok, please disregard my entire last review!
The staff member I was helped by here was COMPLETELY idiotic and clearly didn’t know anything about the services offered by T-​mobile. I paid an extra $ 10 per month for a Simple Choice plan, specifically because I was assured this plan would get me unlimited international texting while in the US, as well as unlimited text and data while roaming internationally.
So, I arrive in Canada, and surprise, I am easily able to connect to available networks but unable to send any messages, make any phone calls, or use data. I can’t call customer service from my cell phone because it won’t make any calls. I had to use a land line and pay long distance fees since their roaming support line is not toll-​free. They spent (sorry, wasted) 45 minutes troubleshooting with me, getting me to switch between networks, reset my device, resetting my service from their end, exhausting every possible technical issue, and finally, my support rep had the common sense to double check — «oh wait, you have a prepaid plan? Sorry, prepaid plans don’t have any of those features. You’ll have to pay for every single call or text.»
So basically, I was ripped off four ways, because I paid more money for a plan I otherwise didn’t need, I didn’t get the features I was promised, I have to pay extra for every single message or call while I am travelling, AND I had an hour of my time wasted! That last point is probably the most annoying, because if any of the people that helped me had simply taken 2 seconds to double-​check that my plan itself was the issue, and not something technical, I probably would have been a lot less annoyed.

Great customer service very poor Internet service. If you are on the boardwalk forget about getting any Internet data coverage. Your phone might say «e» for edge but rest assured you won’t get any data better hope you have wifi.
I still decided to keep the service because the plan is so much cheaper then verizon. Even though verizon works it’s. Rip off 3 gigs for same price as unlimited everything and then when I called them to cancel my phone due to no service they made it cheaper so I’ll just deal with low quality Internet coverage and I got wifi at my work

Looking to get my own phone plan and heard t mobile had one of the most competitive prices, especially in their data plans. I use the internet on my phone all the time. Heard they had a great plan with unlimited data. No over charge for going over. They simply slow down you data as you come close to your max. Prefer this method so much more than getting a large bill in the mail. Unfortunately did not get a chance to find out more about it. Place was full and waited for about half an hour til I had to leave. Definitely could use more workers on the weekends.

Self pay kiosk was down but they took my payment promptly. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Asked for a SIM card and was ready to pay $ 25 (standard fee I always thought), they gave it to me free of charge.

Really good customer service tough.

Went in to unlock my iphone and use T-​mobile service but the guy, a short Hispanic guy, said that it would normally cost $ 100 to unlock it but he knew of a guy nearby who can unlock it for $ 80. He actually led me outside to walk me to that person but I told him it didn’t sound right and left him. I did my own research and unlocked the phone by using the «restore» feature in itunes. That dude was either very dishonest or incompetent. Either case, that store lost all trust from me.

I really would like to write a good review but here is what happened. I went in, bought my phone and opened an acct. with T Mobile. The guy that helped me was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He asked if I wanted to buy insurance for $ 10/​month. I said «no», he added it anyway. Had to go back to the store to get it removed. Went back again several weeks later to add my girlfriend’s phone to my acct. Same guy helped me. This time, I had no data for a week after adding my girlfriend’s phone even though my plan included it. Called customer service to fix this. What gives? This is just basic customer service to give the customer what they order and not give them what they didn’t order.

The worst costumer service ever!!! I bought I-​phone from T-​mobile which is not working properly. I went to exchange it today which is within 30 day grace period. They told me that I have to pay$ 50 restocking fee!!! Their phone is broken but I still have to pay! The manager told me that she «fixed it». When I got home, my phone wasn’t working again!!! Manager’s name is Tatyana C. She was very rude and unprofessional with me. Because of this, I will never go to this store again!

strolled into the store today and called a few others regarding switching from Net10 (cheap $ 50/​month prepaid — use ATT towers) to the Tmobile iPhone 5. Tmbobile only gives you 500MB of data for $ 50. that is equivalent to one hour of youtube. An average user will use maybe 30MB a day — but if you do any heavy ingesting– Facebook, Instagram, Youtube or laptop tethering then expect 2 – 3 days. So figure on paying the extra tariff of $ 20 unlimited, not sure if that covers tethering. after that they switch you to 2G. It has a theoretical rate of 236Kbps but figure on a 64Kbps (modem dial up speed) connection, not much faster. Basically unusable for the most part. Also, wait on the iPhone 5 when the release of the iPhone 5S will happen later in the year.
You can also download the iOS app speediest to see latency (ping) and up/​down speeds. Your speeds will vary depending on the location for HPSA+ and most of the 2G Edge Network is congested with off-​carrier iPhone users. The rumors have it that their 4G network will be fully upgraded by mid year — doubt it? They have been framed with their 1900Mhz frequency, but they still need to change out the data farms. So only a handful of the major cities have 4G — their HPSA+ is still good. I did run the speediest at another store from an associates’ iPhone and i think the speed was around 5−7Mbps down and still a dog with the upload speeds???
I will wait for the iPhone 5S — not sure when the iPhone 6 will come out?

YAY for Gilbert and Wendy! I can’t say enough about the excellent customer service I received from both of them when I visited the store yesterday. From the moment I entered, I was greeted in such a friendly, warm manner which immediately made me feel that this would not be an unpleasant, impersonal, frustrating experience. I explained my problem to them and they took the time to try to figure out the problem (even though I now realize I didn’t have all of the correct info for my phone) and went completely above and beyond what anyone else would have done. They got my problem resolved in just a few short minutes and I left completely impressed with both of them. It’s sooo rare to receive such great customer care these days. Give these two a raise!

Tmobile needs to go out of business.
Here’s my story:
I had a contract with them, their service was affordable (cheap and bad quality). After 2 years my contract was over, i called them and told them I wanted to end my service. They said my contract was over, so I terminated my contract that moment. Low and behold, 3 months later i got a $ 200 dollar bill. They said i ended my contract 1 MONTH EARLY !!! i talked to customer service but they were rude, refused to help, and wouldnt trace our conversation to the last person i talked to. this was ROBBERY! ! ! ! !
TMOBILE IF YOU ARE LISTENING, I AM TELLING THE TRUTH AND WILLING TO COOPERATE .
PLEASE REFUND ME MY MONEY.

Now a happy Verizon customer.

My phone wouldn’t switch on and I desperately went to the T-​Mobile store on Main Street (Santa Monica). So useless + waste of time (Please scroll down see review on that). I left and drove to this store.
Melissa (one of the customer service reps) immediately explained my options to me– 1) do a master reset and 2) get a replacement. She suggested doing a master reset as I really wanted to keep this phone (the replacement didn’t seem that great).
In less than 10 minutes, my phone was fixed and I was good to go.
I will probably get a new phone soon– and I will definitely go back to this store only– and have Melissa help me find a phone!

I was referred to the sales associate Wendy at this location, more than a half-​hour drive from home, eeks! I was hesitant to go that far, but my friend guaranteed me I’d walk outta there happy and get all my billing questions answered. Well, I left the store with a spring in my step. She showed me why my 4G was jacked up (AGAIN. third month in a row) and explained the various charges to my account for this month *and* last month. I don’t regret signing that contract as much anymore. If I’m gonna be stuck with T-​Mobile, I wanna be stuck with Wendy.
