Worst Customer service Ever! Avoid this place at All Costs! They take your order but give you what they want you to have.

Too many mistakes in one order. Also, if you are a vegetarian, watch out! Their vegetarian burrito is NOT vegetarian, because their rice is made with chicken stock. When I ordered one without the rice, they served me a burrito with a piece of beef attached to it. Yuck!

Good burritos. I recently had their Breakfast Burrito with sausage and it was excellent. I like that the meals come with chips, but they’re a bit on the flavorless side. Also as far as I can tell they don’t offer side dishes, which would be nice. Lots of stuff to try here though. Will update with more.

Horrible service. I work in the area and have given these guys a couple of chances to redeem themselves but they’re consistently late with orders. Made an order today and after 45 minutes with no arrival, I gave them a call. The driver had not yet left and I wasted my whole lunch break waiting for the delivery. Most places would have offered a free meal but not these guys. Will not be back.

This taco spot is not much to write home to mom about about. It’s quick and cheap and if your a local not a bad place for a quick bite. Not the best tacos but they are pretty good. Staff is really nice and attentive.

Not good. Not cheap. Two tacos for $ 8 and change. I needed a shovel to find any meat buried in all the crap. Salsa is watery. La Playita or Holy Guacamole. Forget about this place.

I walk here from the office a lot and the burritos are excellent and the sauces, desserts, etc are all solid and served up with speed.

Solid food, friendly staff, and they serve beer here now. Perfect alternative to the fancy places on Abbot Kinney.

Great selection, enormous portions, good service. I went with a big group and we had tacos, burritos, quesadillas, chips & guac, a little bit of everything. All of the food was so delicious and we definitely didn’t need one order per person because the portions are really so huge. I would highly recommend this place!

I measure a taco place based on its al pastor offerings. This place, highly recommended by a few people, did not disappoint at all. The pastor didn’t look like what I’m used to but wow it was incredible!!! Seriously some of the most amazing tacos I have eaten since living in Mexico City. The service was super friendly and the jamoncillo dessert was perfect as well. Thanks guys!

Great for the price. The staff was friendly and the quality and consistency compared to the other locations was as good or better.

This is def your no frills taco place. The food is cheap and decent but nothing special. I would come back here for a quick decent tacos but don’t come here expecting something amazing. The prices are on point however. They do have a really big menu to choose from: burritos, tacos hard and soft, enchiladas, tortas, etc. they serves beer too.

Food is amazing! Workers are great! Salsa is great! I love coming here not only for the authentic food but also because the customer service is great! Would recommend the California burrito and the breakfast burrito as well! Both BOMB!

I’m not the biggest food of Mexican food but my husband brought me here about a year ago to try their hard tacos. I can’t get enough of their tacos! We go here once a week! Get the carne asada hard tacos. Comes with guac, pico de gallo, sour cream and freshly grated monterey jack cheese. Add the green salsa. I honestly haven’t tired anything else here because I don’t think it can get better than my tacos.

Always been to the one on Olympic, 1st time at this spot. Tried the nachos for the first time and they left much to be desired. Not enough cheeses and everything just felt… separate. Pretty much everything else here is good and the salsa bar is totally on point!

i get the same thing every time: bean, cheese, rice burrito with lettuce and avocado. lord help me, it’s just so good. good thing i cannot actually eat them every day. i would be a zillion pounds. the red salsa is insanely great. the green is a bit too garlicky for me, i’ve decided. which is fine. the red’s smokey flavor is perfect for me.

The TPF near Sawtelle was my fave but this one is fast taking over… Love everything about this joint: Sour Cream Burrito(+ avocado) is my go-to and for breakfast, be sure to ask for your potatoes to be well-done. And if you’re craving a lil’ sumpin’ else, they have French Toast, too — yeeeeeee! Great chips. Nummy salsas. Negro. Awesome employees. Lunch Delivery. Kinda perfect.

I love tacos por favor. such a good breakfast taco deal — order the breakfast burrito and ask for them to split the order into three corn tacos. it’s perfect.

Gotta love some TPF! I’ve been going to the Santa Monica location on Olympic Boulevard for years, so I was super stoked to hear they were coming to my neighborhood. The food is fast, cheap and delicious. Definitely fills a hole in the Abbot Kinney dining scene since there’s not really anything left around here that’s cheap! Do yourself a favor and try the carne asada tacos, the chorizo and cheese tacos, or any of the breakfast burritos which are served all day. The salsas and marinated carrots & onions are the bomb too. Pro tip: order a breakfast burrito and have them make it as breakfast tacos instead. You’ll get a whole plate of deliciousness! Even tastier than the burritos in my opinion, and much easier to split which is good since it’s about a pound of food!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone get as disappointed as my husband did when he got his taco here today. He is a die hard TPF fan– we used to drive to the SM location once a week– I mean, they even sponsored our softball team! So clearly we were elated when they opened a spot in Venice… except…it sucks. The last time I ordered a burrito to-go, the pen had gone through the foil and there was sharpie all over the tortilla. The beans weren’t cooked well and tasted off. But by far the the worst: The chicken in today’s tacos was shockingly inedible: dried out, hardened chunks of poor quality meat(see photo). We showed the cashier who was apologetic, but man, you guys need to get it together over here. I’ll happily take this review down when you do.

Great tacos and burritos! Similar to the Santa Monica location the atmosphere is basic no fuss Mexican food. Menu is the same — we love the carnitas and carne asada in both hard tacos and burritos. The breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs, potatoes is amazing! No air conditioning. Self serve salsa stand with likes and pickled carrots. Street parking is pretty convenient. They also deliver but only during lunch hours, and there’s a small delivery fee.

TLDR: Good, not magical. Marginally more expensive than other Mexican places but it’s Venice okay what do you expect. They have to pay rent and taxes too. I can’t speak for its authenticity, but Tacos Por Favor is solid. Good tacos, burritos, plates, the works. I especially enjoyed the following –Cali burrito –Breakfast burrito –Hard shell tacos –Watermelon juice(A++++) –Horchata Ambience — they don’t have AC so it does get hot. They have giant fans that operate loudly but don’t worry, there’s a mic system so you will still hear your number being called. I think there’s a sign in the store that says something about healthy Mexican eats and I would dispute that. The menu is still as carby and fatty as one in any other Mexican place. Salads are served in one of those hard taco shell bowls, and honestly don’t have the characteristics of an actually healthy salad(lots of sour cream, cheese, etc). But you didn’t come here to feel healthy :)

Same tacos por favor that I love in Santa Monica now also in Venice. For people who have never been here get the hard tacos. In general this is a 3 – 4 star food place but the hard shell tacos are an easy 5. They are the Tacos in the name. For those complaining that the prices are higher than their 2 restaurants on Olympic. This is 1 block from Abbot Kinney!$! And the 2 – 3 other Mexican food places that use to be on Abbot Kinney are failed and gone. I hope with their slightly raised prices and location one block off they can make it. Having pretty good Mexican food in Venice once again is good for everyone.

The service was great! And I loved how my taco came w/a heaping pile of chips and pico de gallo. I also love the salsa bar. But my taco was just ok. Not bad but not amazing.

Same great menu as the other locations. They’re open as of today. Plus this location has an outside patio. Welcome to Venice !
