I always find exactly what God wants me to find when I stop in here! Once I came in and saw a giant black hooded cape hanging on the wall. «How much is this?» I asked after I had tried it on and looked like a scary witch. «Oh that cape? It’s $ 6.00.» Well of course I had to buy it! I also got some giant Farrie wings here for $ 3.00 and some furniture and when I first moved to LA back in 2009 I got a pretty beaded Native American necklace. Thanks Bible Tabernacle and God Bless!

Definitely must dig as others have noted, but they have a pretty good selection of children’s books and games. Staff working there were very friendly, helpful and prices are beyond reasonable(i.e., super fantastically cheap).

With stock piled from floor to ceiling, one just can’t go once to this treasure trove. The woman in front of me had two straw porkpie hats from the 1920s or 1930s. They had me drooling, but good for her! Men’s section way in the back, near the bathrooms, dingy and nothing of note. Vinyl LPs are nothing of note– but they do have a huge selection of Bibles and Bible reference books and John Macarthur tape cassettes. I got several of these books and they gave me an NASB for free. Very sweet of them. 5 stars.

A local told us about this store and cautioned that we would have to do a lot of digging. She was right on the money, but it was a fun experience. We were also told there was a lot of turnover. Maybe we’ll go back. The book selection is good, and I liked the CD selection(people who dig CDs are living the good life these days). I found a cute dress and my friend got a couple of nice clothing items. A big bag of junk was only $ 10. The staff person who took my money was friendly and down-to-earth.

This place is actually a thrift store and it’s on the intersection of Lincoln Blvd & Indiana Ave. They usually place furniture items on the sidewalk right across from the tire shop. The main guy who works here is not much of a talker and every single time I see a dresser I like out there it’s already sold. I’ve seen trucks unloading furniture samples early in the morning but they are usually snatched by noon. My neighbor got a few dressers around $ 30 and in great condition. I have yet to find anything good here. Inside it’s like a mad house. There are TVs, microwaves and other electronics up to the ceiling. A bunch of mismatched and raggedy furniture and a loads of used clothes. This place is rather claustrophobic. I guess mid-morning would be best to get those big furniture pieces. The main guy told me he offers free delivery within a mile or so but said that they would not carry it inside if you are on the second floor or higher, bummer.
