I bought an A/​C unit from Home depot in dec. 2014… Gulf Shore Cooling is who Home Depot Subs out to… They installed an oversized unit, brand new, in Dec 2014 recommended by home depot (HD really should reconsider referring business to them!)In June 2016, I was having AC trouble, the company charged me $ 200 to come out for a service call 2 weeks ago (june 2016). Then came out again, because it was still not cooling, and wanted to charge me $ 600 UPFRONT-​saying this is home depot’s policy! They needed to repair the coils which are under warranty from RHEEM… so the labor cost was the $ 600 up front… when I asked how much do they get per hour they hemmed and hawed… I asked the Rheem rep what would you do if you were in this scenario, and she replied, «get a second opinion.» I did and am so happy with my New company who honors the warranty on parts… Shout out to Honest Air Cond. Company in Venice – they are affordable and honest. And HD should recommend Honest Air… a local business, not a Ft. Myers, rip off company like Gulf Shore Cooling.

I stopped going to this location after Lowes opened. I have recently been back and see that the employees are still rude and can’t be bothered with simple questions or directions. Then to find out that the majority of their security cameras don’t work according to the employee in lighting and there is No one running security for this building. When I went to customer service about a stolen item the female manager and TWO other employees were assisting ONE customer. Needless to say after a ten min wait i left. To make a long story short the people at Verizon know what true customer service is. Good thing it wasn’t my purse that had been stolen. I will never go back to this store again and will continue to tell anyone and everyone about my awful experience at the Venice Home Depot.

This Home Depot appears to have management with a gang/​harassing mentality and the check out woman could not have been more nasty and underhanded.
I’ll happily use other stores for my purchases in the future.

Me and my wife got the absolute most horrible service from this Home Depot store. Buyer beware!!! The management must not care what their customers think! Thanks for the horrible treatment. Horrible attitudes and horrible product knowledge from their employees! I’ll never return and pass the word big time!
