Nice area but the imported sand was very grainy any annoying. Hardly any shells were on the beach.

Beautiful clean beach!!! Such strange sand! HOT Blackish grey granular pieces like coarse salt and pepper. as oppose to that fine baby powder white sand at fort Myers beach(but that beach is trashy so who cares) the water here was interesting yesterday for being the first time we ever came. It almost looked toxic it was like glowing. It wasn’t clear but it was clear if you know what I mean? Like you could see threw it but you knew there was nothing gross floating in it. I want to say due to the time we got there about 3ish and the fact this whole week weather has been wonky and rainy that’s probably why the water wasn’t as pristine as i had hoped it’d be. But it was absolutely still outstanding. Didn’t find any shark teeth as people had said. No big deal. They had life guards on duty and let me tell you they’re not afraid the blow on their whistle. Beach wasn’t super crowded like fort Myers but it wasn’t dead like Bonita beach either. It’s a good happy medium. Diffidently kid friendly. Like of quite family’s with children and old people. Not the party scene which is my kind of scene haha. The waves seem a bit more rough then your typical fort Myers/Bonita beach. They do have free parking thank god! I was afraid we had to pay since Naples beach, Bonita beach and fort Myers beach you have to pay for all of them unless your lucky enough to find beach access which is NEVER. They do have restrooms on the beach too. Not many stalls but you’ll be fine it’s not like there’s huge lines. There is a good market right next to one of the parking lots depending where you park. We were right next to it no public restrooms. But food!!! Hello yes people get hungry and want snacks! Super convenient !!! I didn’t check prices just assume… Gas station jacked up high prices haha. Deff will be coming back hope the pictures and videos help because when I was trying to look it up there was NOTHING to see!!! Next time I go in a week or two hope it looks better that way I can show you guys!!(:

Good parking on all but perfect weekends. Beach is clean with a nice stretch from the pier. The place is clean and un-encumbered by a million shops hawking tchotchkes. Not a lot of food, nor privacy, but there are some personal table/pavilions for off the beaten path.

This is more of a natural beach that has good access and a lot of nature to be found. There’s good fishing and lots of shells and shark teeth that can be easily found by a novice. There are bathrooms and changing areas close by but not a lot of food. This beach has dark sand which is a little warm in the summer but is nice in the fall winter and spring. The water is pretty calm here. Parking is pretty good too

Oh, when the sun beats down and burns the tar upon the roof And your shoes get so hot, you wish your tired feet were fireproof –The Drifters, Under the Boardwalk That’s exactly what came to mind when we visited Venice Beach on a hot day in July! The sand is dark and coarse, so you’d better wear your shoes on a hot day, or you’ll do the Captain Ben Sisko shuffle all the way to the water! We weren’t there for long, since we had somewhere to go afterwards, so there wasn’t enough to find any of the famous shark teeth. Everyone else I talked to said that had found oodles of them, so perhaps next time!
