Venice Paloma Suites

We celebrated a friends 30^th birthday here on Halloween 2015. I would have to say, while we would have used Airbnb, this place is a great secondary option in booking a place to stay in Venice just a block from the beach. Finding the place for the first time might be difficult because it’s in a middle location of other residents — and it doesn’t really look like the normal rental. Parking is also annoying; per unit rental you are only allocated 2 parking spots and the parking garage is about 2 (long) blocks away. We downloaded our luggage and then partnered up to take our cars to the parking garage. Unfortunately the 2 other couples in our party had to find parking which was difficult on Halloween Weekend. That is probably one of the downfalls bout this rental.
Other than that, the unit is really cute. When you walk in, you immediately are in the kitchen and spacious living room. One unit had 2 bedrooms both with full size beds. These rooms share 1 full bath. The other unit we rented was 1BD/​1BA, but the couch in that unit opened up to be a full size bed. Both units had a ton of space without feeling compact and crowded.
The best part of this rental would have to be the location. Just seconds from our rental we found ourselves on the popular, well-​known Venice Beach. Although sketch at night because the walk way is adjacent to a half-​way house, just remember to walk in groups and the residents and homeless people won’t bother you.

Do not stay here. Rowdy tourists making noise all hours of the night, beer cans, cigarette butts and broken glass. Don’t call to complain, they simply hang up on you.

Absolutely amazing and so quite yet so close to the strip. Perfectly inbetween santa Monica and Venice. Staff was very helpful and the 2 bed room suite was Clean and perfect for my family of 6.

When I booked my trip I had asked for a early check in. I received a email saying that would not be a problem. When I arrived I spoke to a gentleman from the management office that was so unfriendly. He was not willing to listen to a thing I had to say. With that being said I had known place to go from 10am until I was allowed in at 2pm. When I did finally get into my room it was less then clean. Dirty walls, drify rugs and dust like u can’t believe. The room has a full kitchen witch is nice however the glasses and most of the silverware were not clean. I was tempted to call the management office. However I was not willing to deal w the gentlemen I had spoke w when I tried to check in originally. Would u come back… I don’t think so.

This place was so convenient. The two bedroom apartments provide so much room. The fit out is modern and cool. 3 big tvs, a work desk, air-​conditioning.
There is a big outdoor bbq area for chilling on the summer evenings or sunny winter days. Plus loads of great restaurants a short walk away.
The bath tub is so big it provided hours of relaxation. along with the cheap chinese massages at the end of the street.
If there were ever any issues or queries, the manager (Randy) would always respond promptly and in a very professional way.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, attractive inside & out. We had an excellent stay at this «home away from home“all modern conveniences, nice beds, pillows & linens. Terrific kitchenettes, close walk down flowered walkway to the ersatz Venice Beach. trees & plants & balconies & light & space… all good. Great place to stay… will stay again.
