I had my wedding here in June. It was the most beautiful special day. I looked all over Los Angeles for a place to have our wedding, but everything was SO expensive, and how was I to have a wedding for 150 people in a backyard. I found Venice Venue at the last minute, and it saved my wedding! The Ballroom is stunning, and feels like you’ve stepped back 100 years, and I loved that they had a BRIDALSUITE where my bridesmaids and I could get ready. Things that made my wedding great: 1: I could bring my own Caterers! 2: The ladies at the church were extremely helpful setting up the day and in getting me recommendations to very inexpensive vendors who were local and fantastic. 3: I could bring my own Officiant! 4: I loved that there were so many photo opportunities nearby: We took shots at the canals, on the flower covered pathways, and at the beach(only 1 block away) 5: You can’t beat having both the wedding and reception on the same property. Most Churches just have some sort of multi-purpose room for receptions, but this really is a huge beautiful ballroom. All in all it was a great day, and a day that I couldn’t have afforded, without the help of VV, who allowed me to be a DIY bride. It’s so so hard to find a place in Los Angeles for a wedding that will actually help you make it happen on your budget. I think it’s because it’s a church so they want everyone to be happy. You have to check out this place, it’s like a sigh of relief when you do.
