Krimpers has been around forever! I used to take my kids there at the end of the summer when they were little. I could not stand my hair anymore! Between the sun and sand, it looked like a broom! I just wanted something basic and felt that if they messed up, oh well, it’ll grow back. I was extremely frustrated when I called and there was no answer on a Sunday, then the same thing happened about 5:15 the next day. Beware: They do things their way. No consideration to people who work past 5:00 or are hanging out on the beach, plus… no answering machine or website, so basically, you have to physically go to the salon to find out what their hours are! Very, very frustrating!!! It was a Thursday and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my cut, color and blow dry were on special, only $ 50! Trish was available, so I figured, here we go! I walked out of there very happy! I have spent much more than that on services without the same level of satisfaction. It is a dumpy, no frills kind of place, but if you’re looking for a basic service at a good price, this is the place! Just remember their hours! Tips must be in cash, plus no appointments.
