Subs are usually good little pricey. The interior of the sub shop looks like it hasn’t been updated in years has a dirty feel to it. Service was ok. Like I said subs are good thou

I love it because, there’s no hussel and bussel of tourist like there is at the White House Subs! A lot of people may not know? but they are sister sub shops! So you get the same great sandwich at a local’s pace. My cousin Dino takes my there, so we can order our two favorite subs and split them between us! The cheesesteak with lettuce, mayo and fried onions and the pepper and egg sub, is our go to subs whenever we visit Sack’O’s Now if you are wondering what’s the mayo and hot peppers are doing in one boat? well that’s something my family came up with, It’s called gypsy salsa! It goes with almost anything on the menu, I suggest it on a cheese burger sub! Now of course the one up Sack’O’s has on the White House Subs on Arctic ave, (Is Their Golden Fries) Oh sooo good! The service is always friendly, and depending on what day of the week you go? the food comes out pretty fast! Get the birch beer from the fountain, it has that old fashion flavor to it! Lot’s of meter parking up front and comfy booths inside. So if you’re visiting DoAc anytime this summer don’t miss Sack o’s

Chicken salad is spectacular. Best ever homemade, yummy! Regular sub(aka Italian hoagie) is fabulous!!! Overstuffed with fresh meats and cheeses. Rolls fresh. Be warned. A half size sub is more like a large. I asked to wrap my ½ that was left for airline travel and they did it for me. Even added extra hot peppers. The only thing they didn’t provide was a ziplock bag!!! Staff is so friendly we were looking for the friendly pills Very polite and pleasant. Older place but very well kept and spotless. We’ll definitely be back.

I shared a cheesesteak with provolone and a regular hoagie with a friend. Both were extremely good. There was no gristle in the beef, it was flavorful and juicy. The onions were perfectly carmelized. The hot pepper mix is delish, though probably not hot enough to satisfy extreme pepper lovers. The sub is huge, but the meat is just a bit skimpy — I would advise getting a half sub with extra meat. Also, a small quibble, the meat is top round. True cheesesteak is made with shaved rib eye beef, though I would guess that no more than a handful of places in Philly still do that. Without that, it is a roast beef sub — though quite delicious. The regular hoagie was great — everything was fresh, flavorful and it was packed with meat.

Had steaks from here twice. Not horrible by any means but nothing special. I felt the food is way over priced compared to the other local pizza shops that are awesome.

My first time there and the quality of the meat and bread is top notch. What’s even better was the service. My props to management for training such a courteous staff.

Good service. Cheesesteak with wiz was just OK. Lacked flavor. Good but not great. Prices were good and as mentioned the service was excellent. No reason to return really.

Get the subs. Anything else is a risk. Like a burger or wings. They have neen doing the same thing for 30 years. And it shows. And it’s time to update the décor.

PRO’s: I’ve going to Sack-O’s since 1975. I find them better than the Whitehouse subs since they slice the meat thinner which improves the taste. Always great subs. A few locations spread out in the area. Well done. CON’s: Some new stores, many are old. We’ll be back,.

I have been going to here for 10 years and have never been so sub was dripping and soggy the meat wasn’t even chopped up just a brick of meat the green peppers were sour the mushrooms canned and the fried onions slapped me in the face as I took a bite… can find a sub in any pizza shop better than that. lost me as a customer wouldn’t eat there if it was free.

I have lived here my whole life and always enjoyed Sacco’s. Recently they decided to give smaller portions and raise prices. What happened to the old Sacco’s? Pissing off the locals might not be the best approach.

Consistently deliver high quality with great speed. The steak sandwiches are made from beef cut on the premises and taste great piled on a fresh Formica Bakery roll. There are vegetarian sandwiches as well.

Well whenever I’m in ventnor I always stop here for a sandwich. It’s not the White House in Atlantic city but it’s the bext best thing Their menu is rather extensive but the true believers go for the subs and steak sandwiches. They are prepared on those really old you can only get in Atlantic city and the steak sandwiches melt in your mouth. Well worth it. The fries are hand cut fresh and delicious. I found the service excellent and the servers and woman at the register pleasant and professional. Plenty of booth space and counter space

I went to Sack O Subs this weekend to try theirs out. In fact I drove about a hour from Seabrook to give it a shot. I was less than enthused by the whole experience. When I first walked in, the place was pretty much empty which, given my experience at Dino’s down the street, was striking. The waitress sat us and took a drink order. While we were sitting there, we spilled a bottle of baby formula. While I cleaned it up with napkins, she brought a dishtowel to help me out. Of course, in a lot of restaurants, they’d take over for you and clean it up for you. Not the case. Then, once it was cleaned up it sat there for a long time. I ended up finding a trash can and tossing the napkins myself. Now, for the food. Since I couldn’t make up my mind between the Steak & Cheese or the Italian sub, I got a half of both. I have to say, the half’s are huge, as is to be expected on the Jersey shore. The Steak & Cheese was average. Not quite as loaded as I imagined but it was alright. The Italian sub was less than inspiring. I’ve had better Italian subs in Maryland. The bread was way too chewy for my tastes, causing me to try to saw through it while all the contents started sliding out of the sandwich. My wife had their Chicken Salad Club sandwich, which was huge and very tasty, so they get points for that. We also had our toddler with us, and as he has severe food allergies, we wanted to give him some grilled chicken. They have listed in their menu something like«extra chicken» on their subs as $ 3 – 4. We figured they could give us that for the child, but instead charged us full boat for a sandwich. Ok, no big deal. At the end, I asked about getting some ice to transport my half Italian sub and the chicken home to Maryland, and they ended up charging us $ 1.50 for what amounted to about 1.5 pounds of ice. I spent about $ 40 – 45 in that place, so you’d think they least they could do is give you a little bit of frozen water to get one of their sandwiches home. Needless to say, I’ll be going back to Dino’s or trying Whitehouse next time as I’ve heard they are very good as well. I just wasn’t impressed with this place, especially after driving almost an hour just to try it.

This place is awesome. their subs are a million times better then wawa, and they deliver! Their other food is great too(obviously for this price point). Their chicken tenders and fries for around $ 6⁄7 is a sweet deal, and the fries are seasoned perfect. That with a sub usually feeds me and my girl. All in all– great for mixing it up from pizza or chinese when you go for delivery.

My boyfriend & I stopped in to Sack O Subs yesterday to get a few hoagies(hey, we’re from PA). After looking over the menu, which the pushy girl at the counter gave us after watching us try to read the menu over the counter. It had to of been clear that we had never been to this restaurant before. I settled on a turkey hoagie, because you can’t go wrong with that, right? Wrong. It was gross… the turkey didn’t taste fresh and the cheese looked like plastic. My boyfriend got the chicken parm, which was also a soggy mess. We barely ate these disasters The biggest issue: we thought we had been given the wrong order(once we opened up our bag — at the beach) because there were FOUR individually wrapped WHOLE12 inch subs. We were baffled as we had both ordered a whole hoagie… because to us, a whole hoagie is a standard 12 inch sub. A half would be SIX inches. Why in the hell didn’t the young lady taking our order inform us that a WHOLE hoagie is in fact TWO whole subs?! Nowhere on the menu does it state that a whole sub is 2 feet long. I’m still having trouble understanding the concept of two completely separate(separately packaged and on its own roll) subs being identified as a WHOLE sub. What a waste of time and money(and the shittiest lunch ever). Next time, we’ll stick with WaWa(conveniently located right across the street) where at least you know what you’re getting. Oh, forgot about the French fries that we got. What a beautiful mess of limp, greasy strips of soggy potato. Barf.

I really like the cheesesteaks/food… try the pasta specials! Just a heads up… their version of a chicken parm sub is what we all call or what I know as a «chicken pizza steak.» That’s fine but you can also get it grilled or what I thought it would be fried breaded chicken. They were so rude about the misunderstanding but how would I know there’s three ways it’s served when it’s not on the menu or mentioned when I order the item. I ended up paying for two subs so I could get what I wanted and threw away the chicken cheesesteak with marinara sauce. Not everyone is out to get stuff for free and this was a genuine misunderstanding so try being a littler nicer!

This spot is so damn good. It’s very cheap too. I recommend calling in your order for pickup, as it can be crowded. I hadn’t been in a few years, and just went yesterday. I got a turkey sub with the works. The half sub is $ 6, and it’s enough food to fill you up for the entire day. Only order a whole sub if you’re splitting it with another person. My boy go a cheese-steak, which I took a bite of, and enjoyed thoroughly. Go here guys!
